UniBond No More Nails Original

I’ve used the UniBond No More Nails Original Heavy Duty adhesive, and it’s one of those products that just makes DIY jobs much easier. The biggest benefit is how well it eliminates the need for nails or screws. It creates a really strong bond on most common materials like wood, plaster, brick, metal, and even some plastics, so it’s ideal for things like skirting boards, hooks, or small fixtures. It has a good initial grab, so items stay in place fairly quickly, but you still get a bit of time to adjust positioning before it fully sets. Once cured, the hold feels solid and durable for everyday household jobs. Another plus is that it’s solvent-free and easy to apply, so there’s no strong smell and cleanup is straightforward. I’ve found it especially useful for indoor projects where you don’t want to damage walls with drilling. Just worth noting—like most adhesives, heavier items may need temporary support while it dries fully. Overall, a really handy, mess-free alternative to traditional fixings. The best quality adhesive on the market. I have tried most grab adhesives and tube based “all purpose” adhesives this is unequivocally the best. I’ve used this in various household and workplace applications and where others have failed this has never let me down. Good sturdy dispensers with quality opaque nozzles which can be cut accurately and come with screw caps which are effective at preventing premature curing if stored for longer periods. Application tends to be smooth not sputtery. The glue consistency is perfect, workable, can be smoothed with a finger or tool or squeezed in to cavities to fill voids. I buy the white variant and the colour is good sometimes you may notice slight yellowing but generally it remains pretty white so can be used in visible places whilst decorating etc. it seems over-paintable too. It’s not designed for outdoor use but I have used it outdoors in cold and damp conditions with great success (apply in dry conditions). The adhesion is excellent and the grab factor is high if applied fairly liberally. It is basically odourless unlike some other adhesives which stink. Value is better than other offerings, it is slightly pricier than some alternatives (mid priced) but much better quality and if you shop around you can pick up a couple of 3 tube packs on here or eBay at significantly reduced prices. Having tried many other brands and products this is now my go to and I’m sticking to it!

The product itself is good but the tube didn't feel even half full. It didn't last long either so ill have to buy more. I didn't weigh the tube as i didn't have scales where i was. The bits i stuck with this have stayed put well enough so can't complain too much really.

I got this product to glue molding strips to my wall for a panelling project and was very impressed. It went a long way so great value for money. The glue dries in good time, meaning you don’t have to wait too long before caulking and painting. I’m impressed with the strength of this product, stuck down well even where my walls are uneven! No strong odours which is a bonus.

Used to attach bird house to outside brick wall last spring and still as firm,so certainly durable it dried quickly but with enough time if needs adjusting..

Excellent product

Despite claims that it can serve as a substitute for nails, it falls short. While it does offer slightly better adhesion than comparable products, this marginal improvement doesn't justify its higher price tag.
