Q: What are the characteristics of this one compared to Revlon's?

There is basically no difference in design, this one has an additional design that can be removed. I think this is more convenient to carry.

Q: What is the brush width?

This brush is oval not round. On one side it’s about 3 inches and the other side is about 2 inches. This brush is awesome. Cut my time down by 50% to blow out my hair.

Q: Does anyone know how this compares to the Revlon one? that one gets too hot.

This does not get too hot, even on the highest setting.
