Is there a 2" version? This is too big for my belt.

the zt-54 is a 1 3/4" version. on their website they only show 1 3/4" or 2 1/2" check http://www.zaktool.com/product-category/tactical-key-ring-holders/

What is the size of the part that goes on the belt? As far as thickness? I have a thick gun belt and want to make sure that it fits

It'll fit all standard gun belts, I use a thick one as well. But honestly I don't recommend this one. It does not secure your keys well at all.

Is the ring shown in the photo attached to holder?

It comes with the holder however is removable just like any key ring would be. So to answer the question in simplest form no it is not attached to the holder itself.
