This item is NOT compatible with non-US outlets. The prongs are too short to fit into wall outlets, power bar outlets or extension outlets. As a Canadian customer I assumed that our outlets match those of American outlets. Apparently not. Had to return item at my expense. Ask questions about power cords before purchasing. No where did it say in the ad "...these are for US outlets". As you can see by the photo the plug on the right is what I expected the prongs to be in length. The plug on the left is the one I purchased with shorter prongs.
