Works great. Very easy to watch DVDs and more at home or in the car. I get movies at thrift shops for a dollar. Affordable movie watching.

Excellent quality. I watch many movies on this small machine. It’s portable and convenient. The volume doesn’t go very loud though. I tend to watch with captions anyway, when available.I haven’t really used the swivel ability of the screen, but it’s a feature of the dvd player.

Plays almost all my dvds but it won't read charmed season 2

I bought this DVD player for my daughter to use while we were on a cruise together. I need the room to be quiet for me to sleep well. My daughter needs the TV on to sleep well. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a DVD player because it was really just needed for this vacation. WOW! We were both amazed at how well this little player worked, it played all night long, it has a ridiculously long battery life! The headphones and picture quality are decent and acceptable, (not great,) but actually better than you would expect to get from a DVD player at this price point. This is a great little DVD player for travel.

UPDATED REVIEW 11/27/23: The seller reached out to me & was very nice enough to offer a full refund & keep the dvd player. The seller apologized for this mistake. I will be purchasing again from this seller knowing how they make sure customers are satisfied with their purchase. I wish a lot of sellers was this passionate about customer service. So what are you waiting for, purchase your portable DVD player from this seller today! A company Guaranteed to stand by their policy! I was excited to receive my portable DVD player. It was well packaged. The box was a little bent around the corners but not terribly bad. Before going any further I will say that I like this little portable DVD player🤗. Now here’s my FIRST REVIEW: So I opened the box & checked to see if everything that says it come with was there & it was but…I found 3 things WRONG while investigating it to see if it works. (1)WRONG CABLE CORD: It doesn’t allow you to connect to your tv like it says. I have two different televisions by Vizio & the cord does not work on either of them! (2)NO VIDEO SETUP PAGE: when trying to set up under the video reel icon it tells you to go to “setup page”, it doesn’t have a setup page. Also there’s a tv option underneath that says tv for you to setup, doesn’t work. It won’t let you highlight or click on it. (3)CHARGE PLUG DAMAGED & DANGETOUS: there was something loose in the charger cord that sounded like a small screw or a broken possible piece of melted plastic & what do you know, it was a small piece of melted plastic that looked like it was chipped off from inside of the edge of cord box. The charger cord gets extremely overheated quickly which I do not feel safe with using @ all! I do not want to go through the hassle of returning it so I will reach out to the seller to see what they are willing to do about these issues. Until then, stay tuned for an update.

This is a superb dvd player and I was very happy with my purchase UNTIL I used my headphones. I tried three different headphones (Bose, Beats by Dr. Dre, audio-technica) and while I heard the dvd sound (very much in the treble ranges, even on the Movie sound setting), there was an ever present underlying whine. So I tried earbuds, thinking they are less powerful, but no joy. That damn whine is whining and whining no matter what. I suspect the jack/headphones are picking up the dvd spinning mechanism.However, the exterior speakers, the picture quality, and the onboard chip’s ability to adjust to playing dvd’s 4:3 aspect ratio was extremely satisfying and made me very happy. I have a lot of old dvd movies, and I hate it when players, although they can play 4:3 aspect dvd’s, they do so making the picture very very fat, everyone is stretched out sideways looking very very squat. While this player does have a little stretching out of 4:3 aspect dvd’s, it isn’t very noticeable, just a little bit.Customer service is superb, as other reviewers have mentioned. When I received the first player, I complained, and the company sent me a new one immediately. However, the second player, as I mentioned above, had the same issue of loud whining when using headphones in the jack. So. I am extremely disappointed, but given the video quality, and that it plays 4:3 aspect DVD’s with a good enough presentation, I am keeping my purchase. But damn it, the headphone jack sound is important to me, so I intend to keep looking, and I won’t be buying from this company again. You might not care about the headphone issue, and I would recommend this player to those who don’t care about headphone listening. For the price, it is an excellent player otherwise. The picture quality is awesome.

Crap... don't buy! Unless you want no volume dvds. They just constantly go to being silent no matter what you do. You adjust and fix and then 30 mins later silent again. Adjust and fix and off and on again, start movie over & 30 mins later back to silent.
