Bought to replace an old non-functioning outside switch.Looks good and rocker feels sturdy. Very easy to install for a competent DIYer but read wiring instructions carefully in relation to the different options for the neon light circuit. This slimline switch did not come with a 20mm conduit (as stated in instructions) which must be bought separately before you start the job.You'll also need some silicone for sealing.

Convenient to have this narrow switch when you don't want a big square one. I was surprised that none of my local electrical retailers or wholesalers had one! I agree with reviewers who say the instructions about the LED are unclear but I have found that if you leave it connected (as mine arrived) between the two connections to which you connect the main light(s) it works when in the OFF position which is useful to help find the switch in the dark! I think it makes a circuit through the unilluminated bulbs(s). (I don't know if this works with all types of bulbs!)

Perfect good quality and safe waterproof switch with red LED, (to locate the switch in the dark) for my garden shed. Perfect, but don't forget to buy waterproof cable glands to do a safe and tidy job of it!

This outdoor 2 way switch is very well made. I purchased this to control my spa water pump. I wanted an inline switch to switch on and off the pump whenever i needed too. The instructions that come with the switch are confusing to say the least and i still haven't worked them out, however i am pretty good with electrics and there are only 3 connections that i need to make and they are clearly marked for the live/natural and earth connectors. I only intend to use this as a 1 way switch, which is possible, however it looks like the LED will not work if i have understood the instruction properly. I am planning to fit this when i have more time. There are no waterproof glands included with the set, so you will need to purchase these separately. You also need to drill out the cable entry points, which is a pain as i previous outdoor electrical switches i have purchased have push out glands. Overall though i am happy with the switch and the slim profile. I hope that you found my review helpful.

Schalter war bei mir nie angeschlossen! Für den Einbau ausgepackt und es waren direkt Brandspuren sichtbar. Schaltergehäuse geöffnet und dort wurde sichtbar, dass eine mangelnde Verkabelung der Kontrolllampe zu den Brandschäden geführt hat. Ob dies bei einem Test in der Fabrik oder bei einem Vorbesitzer (Schalter wurde aber als neu gekauft) passiert ist, weiß ich nicht. Nur so hätte diese nie ausgeliefert werden dürfen und landet im Müll.
