Buyer beware! Firstly it's important to note that our bed wasn't purchased from this retailer so this review has nothing to do with them...it has everything to do with Kaydian. Our first bed turned up with scuff/wear marks on most of the leather pieces...but that was only a slight niggle compared to the other issues: Screws didn't fit the screw holes in a number of areas, the instructions are wrong (physically impossible to get from step 5 to step 6) and the hydraulics that were supplied were so stiff that the lifting mechanism buckled and broke before the hydraulics released. Our second (replacement) bed has now arrived and, while there are fewer scuff marks, there's no way of testing to see if the hydraulics are any better because Kaydian supplied the wrong lifting mechanism to which they attach. We'll be looking for a refund and buying a bed without Kaydian in the name.
