Power Dome For The NuWave Oven – Genuine Upgrade Dome Sold By Manufacturer

I bought this product several years ago and still works perfectly with my newave. it is true that i don't use it as often as I did before but still great! I use it at least once a week and it works just like the original! i would recommend this product.

I purchased my Nu Wave from Amazon back in 2015, and it's still going "STRONG".. I've gotten my monies worth at least a hundred times over by using this tempatured controlled 8th Wonder of the World. It actually rejuvenates my leftovers from the inside out Quickly!!Old cold Cheese Steak Subs, Pizza's, KFC, Blueberry Muffins, ect are Re-Fibrillated to twice as good from when I purchased it from the store...No Kidding... Fresh Linked sausage, 1Lb Bacon on a aluminum tray.... Lake Trout, Red Salmon, Porgies, or your favorite seafood dish. I lightly use extra virgin olive oil, Dash, and real lemon's to bring out its taste. Always comes out Golden and Flaky White, Aromatic and Steaming delicious. Use included cookbook, or use your own imagination. Very fast even cooking throughout. Hundreds of dishes.THE KEY TO ITS PERFECTLY COOKED FOOD COMPARED TO OTHER AIR FRYERS IS IT HAS A "WINDOW" TO HELP YOU GAUGE YOUR DESIRED DONENESS...No more overcooked, dry burnt food.My original dome after 4 years of wear and tear slightly chipped and cracked at its bottom due to my constant heavy handed usage. If this unit completely fail today, I would definitely have another one here the next day! My dome isn't Bulletproof, so use some level of caution when handling dome especially on hard surfaces. The whole poultry pictured weighs 5lbs, so you can only imagine that you can go all the way up to 12lbs of poultry easily inside this dome with a couple of adjustments..5 STARS+....BON APPETIT'

This replacement don't has actually lasted me a while and it hasn't cracked on me for the Nu Wave oven

The old dome became worn and was loose on the cooking top piece. One time when my wife lifted it off, it came lose, fell on the floor, and cracked in several places.Be aware that this dome may be shorter than your old one. My old dome is about 1-1/8" taller than this new one, even though it is advertised to fit my cooker model number. The problem is that when I use the high wire rack for broiling, there's only going to be about 1-1/2" between the rack and the cooking elements. Instead of broiling, it's is going to burn the food because the cooking unit is lower and closer to the food. I'm considering folding (bending) the wire supports to make the rack sit about 1-1/2" lower.

I use our NuWave often so it was only a matter of time before the original dome cracked from the heat the unit generates. This replacement is much more durable and, similarly to the original, is very easy to hand clean. I don't put this in the dishwasher since it takes up too much room. Hand washing is very easy and recommended. This dome fits the unit perfectly. The amber color does not interfere with seeing the condition of the meat being cooked although one might assume the tint would make that more difficult. I recommend replacing the original dome with this one if your original ever needs to be replaced.

As other reviewers have mentioned, this nuwave power dome is shorter than the original one that came with the NuWave. To make up for the difference in height, I don't use the rack sitting high up like I use to before. I turn the grill rack upside down on the shorter legs and am still able to cook the food like I normally would have. The shorter dome hasn't been an inconvenience for what I use it for. I can only see there being an issue if someone wants to cook 2 layers of food at the same time.

The original one was clear and cracked all over but this colored one started to crack after around two years after daily use..nu wave over is great but the plastic cover needs to be better made to last …

The dome is slightly shorter than the original dome that came with the NuWave Oven. I may have to order the ring at a later time, however, it is an adequate replacement. The top seems to be a little snugger of a fit than the old one, but no issues so far. I like the NuWave better than an air fryer, as there is more surface area on the rack for things to get air movement around them without having to constantly stop and rearrange things. Last night was chimichurri shrimp (large) 4 minutes in the NuWave, perfectly cooked!
