This is the best book you will ever read on childcare. It is a must for all new parents. This lighthearted handling tips book provides light entertainment at a very serious though joyous time in anyones life. With classics such as introducing baby to pets and how to check a nappy, this book is great. Illustrated throughout with simple black and white cartoon images. I have purchased this book several times for friends and family when they were expecting their firstborn.

Brilliant bought it for my son when he became a father everyone had a real belly laugh with it. A good laugh is needed especially when one has a first baby no one prepares you for the JOB and we are all frightened faced with this little scrap of humanity who depends on us totally, a book like this brings humour whilst one is still trying to "get it together"

Very funny and the perfect gift for friends who became new parents. Their older daughter (6yrs) loves it too and the spinner was put to use when it came to nappy changes!

I bought this as I thought it would make a funny little gift for some friends who were expecting. Priced at £7.99 at the time, its not bad value for money. The book includes a little spinner wheel on the front for parents to fairly decide who's turn it is to deal with tasks such as nappy changes and bodily fluid cleanups! The book is wipe clean and each page is made of thick card which should come in handy! Very funny little book, a must for those with a sense of humour!

so funny... really takes the mick out of the way people are nowadays needing to be told not to do stupid things or warned about the obvious for fear they might sue... I especially love the wheel of responsibility... If I had this book when my son was a baby I'd have magnetised it to land on daddy

I bought this as a gift for a baby shower as an alternative to the usual baby items. The gift went down well and hopefully the wheel of responsibility will come in handy for the new parents.

I was in a bookstore, and happened upon this book. I picked it up and started to read, and began to giggle, out loud. I felt that I was being too loud, so I closed the book and put it down until I felt I was under control again. I then picked it up to read, but burst into giggles again. This happened several times. I wanted to buy the book in the store but it was kind of beat up, so I ordered from Amazon. I gave this book to my friend for her baby shower, and it was the absolute hit of the party! You know how everyone passes the presents around, "Oh, how nice, ANOTHER tube of Desitin!" "Oh, of COURSE she can use another frilly baby headband!" and no one really looks at them or cares? Well this book took about an hour to make it around the circle; its progress was punctuated with shrieks of laughter. We even called her husband in and he read it and totally cracked up. My friend says she is actually going to use the spinner on the front of the book. I think my favorite parts of the book are the "Testing Baby's Bottle", "Introducing Baby to Pets", and "Bonding With Baby", but to be honest, they are all hilarious. I read the book about 10 times before I gave it to her and I still giggled each time. I don't have any babies, but I think I might just buy this for myself for laughs. Fantastic shower gift.

Bought it as a gift, forgot to send it, used it for myself. Boy, it is a great start, mostly covers the basic do and donts.
