This thing works so well it’s never coming back.
First launch this thing soared to the sky and the spectators were in aw. The parachute deployed beautifully however the landing zone was inadequate. The rocket was lost 250+ feet at the top of a large tree. I would definitely recommend a football field as a launch zone if you purchase this.

The bottle won't hold the pressure and blew up.
The average soda bottle will minimally hold a pressure of 100 PSI. In fact if you look it up the design pressure for plastic soda bottle they are between 100 and 200 PSI, the standard. I purchased this as we were going over to a friend's house who likes to shoot off bottle rockets for the kids (and adults) and he built a small launcher that pressurized the bottle to 90 PSI automatically. The exact same pressure very time. This bottle was the only one that would not hold the pressure and the bottom blew out. Every other coke and ginger ale bottle worked flawlessly for multiple launches.

Nosecone is a balancing act
Only have 4 launches so far- to test- once I removed the parachute contraption this AQUAPOD soared like a rocket. But the cone that supposedly holds the parachute? Whoa Big disappointment! The folded parachute puts pressure on nosecone and pushed nosecone off. The slightest tug on the launch cord and the nosecone SLIDES off. IF you do get to launch, the nosecone is off befoe it gets 20 ft off the gound. I can BARELY get the nosecone to balance on the rocket sitting at the kitchen table! I checked at grocery to make sure my bottle was standard. It is. I'll get the parachute to work but it won't be with this nose cone. I guess it IS rocket science.

Useless - Fin Height Not Compatible with AquaPod Base
Don’t bother purchasing this item. The height of the fin prevents the fin assembly from fully seating on the AquaPro base. As a result is that the fin assembly does not form an adequate seal on the base and therefore air and water escape when trying to pump air into the bottle - preventing launching the bottle. I wasted my money on this.

The cap falls off too easy and stops the rockets ascent.
I love the rocket. I'd skip this accessory. It didn't work for us at all.

Launcher is separate and I can’t find it!
I didn’t realize it requires a separate launcher!! I can’t even find the one that goes w this!!
