Followed the advice of other reviewers and ordered this for my new Viofo dash cam. Seems a bit pricey but I wanted to make sure I had compatible equipment installed. It works as expected.

Why 256GB is better than 64GB/128GB Lifespan: Dash cams kill cards by constantly writing over old footage. With a larger 256GB card, the "loop" takes longer to complete, meaning each memory sector gets written to less frequently. This significantly prolongs the card's life. Buffer Time: If you are running a 2-channel (Front/Rear) or 3-channel setup, a small card fills up in hours. This 256GB gives you plenty of buffer time before footage gets overwritten. 3. Expensive, but specs seem to be on the mark and hopefully means I don't have to worry about the SD card failing on me when I need it most. I'm planning on grabbing 2-3 more so I have some to swap around just to guarantee they stay as reliable as possible. Easy to put in the camera, doesn't change camera quality at all, and works with other dashcams if I ever upgrade

I purchased this VIOFO 128GB Industrial Grade microSD Card for my new VIOFO dash cam. It captures great video quality, has plenty of storage capacity and doesn't miss a beat. The camera over writes previous video. CAUTION: It's called micro for a reason. It's tiny. Smaller than a dime. If I need to download a video, I unplug the power cable from the camera and then remove the micro SD card while holding it over a table or desk. If I were to fumble around inside the card trying to remove the card and drop it, who knows if I'd ever find it!

Use this on my VIOFO Dash cam because I thought I needed it because they function did not work. To find out that the function did not work because that's the way it was designed. NOT gonna say it was a waste of money as it is a very good card, But really didn't need to buy it.
