I am a teacher of modern jive and occasional dj. I bought this speaker for when I am working in smaller venues as a more portable alternative to my usual PA system. I have now used it twice in a professional setting and received good comments about the sound it produced, both quality and volume. The bass is particular full while the higher frequencies are clear. I was a bit concerned about the advertising that said the battery lasted up to 9 hours. I thought this meant that I would be lucky to get 3 hours at full volume in a venue. Not a bit of it, they undersell themselves. It is so good that I have been using it round the house by connecting it to my devices, including my tv, by bluetooth. So far the battery has lasted about 20 hours since I last charged it and the battery indicator is still showing amber and not yet in the red. It does take quite a while to recharge the battery but you can still use it while it's charging. The speaker does seem to be quite plasticky and the retractable handle a bit wobbly so we'll wait and see how well the bodywork fairs over the years but so far it's not looking too bad despite a couple of trips in the car boot. It has all the connectivity that I need to work with. I mainly use bluetooth to connect devices especially my laptop however there is an aux socket if required. The supplied radio microphones are a bonus and work well. When I am teaching I use a radio head microphone which was easy to connect and set the volume using the combination microphone socket. The receiver for my head microphone uses a jack plug. What I really like about this speaker is that I can have a completely wireless set up. My usual PA takes about 10 to 15 minutes to set up but with this speaker I can be up and running in just a couple of minutes. I have also been pleasantly surprised by the adequacy of the volume in the small to medium sized venues that I have used it in; I didn't even have it on full volume. All this for not a bad price. What's not to like?

This was bought to replace ancient equipment in use by our social club and we are delighted with it. It has 2 wireless mics, bluetooth, SD slots and battery level monitoring. So far we've used it for bingo, coffee mornings, managers meetings, christmas concert and background music at christmas partys. We think it's excellent value for money.
