Nice and sturdy, holds my relatively heavy Framework Laptop 16 no problem. The mechanism to lock it in place works pretty well wrapped around its hinges. I expect based on its design that it should accommodate most laptops. Makes my laptop screen much more usable when docked and puts my fingerprint reader and webcam within reach. The mechanism to mount it to a desk or table is quite rigid and does not require any drilling if you have a decent lip. The arm is plenty long and the height and angle can be adjusted just about any way you like.

Great value, very sturdy.I attached this to my desk to use when I am working on laptops. Have not tried the monitor mount, but it holds my laptops no problem.

This is going to sound over the top, but for the money I can’t imagine a better stand! Easy assembly, well built, strong enough to hold a 17” gaming laptop, it even has a little storage spot for the assembly tools! I’ve spent hundreds on arms that were only marginally better than this. It may not hold up as well with lots of use, I’ll find out, but initial impressions are awesome.

Very fluid, works as intended. I’ve had it for 6 months now and move it around frequently. It’s very sturdy and high quality. It’s great knowing that I can add a monitor instead of the laptop stand if my setup changes. The strap for the laptop is in a terrible location and you can’t shut the laptop with the strap tied. It will interfere for charging and ports depending on your laptop as well. I would’ve preferred some kind of a magnet set up to secure the laptop to the platform. Laptops with rear ports would work best. I have a hub so it’s not too big of a deal for me.

It’s been a few days but it was easy to put together and really should have gotten this long long ago! It’s just right. It works for me and my set up. I put it through the hole in the back/middle on my desk. No idea what that was for until now. I had originally planned to use the clamp. Now I have so much more space to work with on my desk. Thank goodness!

Great purchase. Durable as well

I like the overall design, it would work well if you're mounting to a desk with nothing below the mount area. The mounting bolt for this is extremely long and did not work for me as I didnt have enough clearance, the bolt is way longer than it is in the picture. Caused me a bit of grief but I was able to figure something else out to get the clamp to hold and it now works fine. I would recommend the manufacturer offer a much shorter bolt options for these cases.

Using in my music studio. Great space saving accessory as it folds compactly and has excellent range of motion. Actuates very easily while stable enough to hold a set position and support the weight of my Mac Air.
