Best phosphate remover out there.
This phosphate remover works very well. I started using it about 8 months ago and it does seem to lower it which makes it nice.

Great product but you have to know what you're doing to use it
For those of you who are avid DIYers and really want to maintain your own pools, this is a must purchase but you HAVE TO know what you're doing to use it. This is not one of those chemicals you dump in and call it good. You need to get your water tested (recommended anyway) and then follow the directions carefully on the bottle. How much you use is dependent on the size of your pool in gallons. When it's time to add the phosphate remover, they say to spread it out - they mean spread it out. Dump a little stream of the liquid as you walk the perimeter of the pool. By the time you get to where you started, you should just be emptying the bottle. If you have a variable speed pump - crank it up. They recommend letting it run for what I personally believe is an exceptionally long time to clear out the phosphate but "follow the directions". The pool is going to turn cloudy and you are going to think you screwed it up - you're good. Cloudy is where it starts. It will clear up. I have saltwater pool so I highly recommend you have some DE (diatomaceous earth) on hand because you'll need it. Let the water run according to the directions and then once it completes it's cycle, you backflush the filter. This is a fun process but follow your filters instructions for backflushing. I personally only need to do it once because I keep the filter well maintained but before I learned how important it was to backflush...I had to repeat the process 3 or 4 times. After it's backflushed you are going to need to then follow the directions to sloooooooooowly add DE back into your skimmer so it can repopulate the filter. Not exactly as easy as dumping in a little acid once a week. This is a process but it's important to get right because phosphates are one of those hidden issues you dont realize until you have an algae bloom you cant get rid of. Dead organic matter has a way of increasing the level of phosphates, which in turn promotes algae and most people then crank up their chlorine and or salt generators which costs more than just cleaning out the phosphates as necessary. I have used a couple of different brands of phosphate remover but typically stick with a favorite. This one works just as well but it's a little cheaper than my normal brand so...it's a good product and a solid value. Just follow the directions.

Easy to use and plenty of treatments in this one bottle
I ordered this because I had been struggling with getting enough free chlorine in my pool. I had the PH, total chlorine, hardiness, and stabilizer all at the right levels but could not get the free chlorine up. After doing some research it seems the free chlorine was probably having to fight the algae that kept trying to pop up in my pool. I had been using algae guard and still was having a few problems with algae trying to grow on the bottom of my pool. When I used this in conjunction with a shock the algae has significantly died back. I guess all the grass clippings and general phosphates were just giving the algae food that I did not know about. It does cloud the water a little but not enough that you can't see through. It just was not as clear as it was before but after a day it was clear again. In this bottle is enough for plenty of treatments depending on how many phosphates you have in your pool and how big it is. Overall, this is a new thing I have learned to keep on hand for my pool to help keep it crystal clear all season. I liked this product.

Cleared my pool nicely
I was fighting cloudy water for quite some time. Chemical levels were all spot-on, but clarity just wasn't there. I used the product as recommended and my pool was crystal clear in 2 days.
