They WORK!
For the gate I use at the top of the stairs for the dogs, the screws or the gate had worn out and the rubber has hardened and fallen off. I bought new screws that hold up the gate and press into the wall. I saw the wall protectors when ordering. I ordered them and they fit right on the end of the gate screws and protect the wall. Don't have to worry about making the screw too tight against the wall.Love them.
