Very well made safety trousers
Really very comfortable trousers with built in protection.

Always get the right gear.
These are really great chainsaw trousers. You will certainly need the braces. I've not put them to the ultimate test, but out in the field they have been robust against branches and brambles. They seem to be really well made and are a good fit and easily slip on without me having to take my boots off if necessary (thou its easier if you do!). They come with a little repair kit to patch snags. Wouldn't be without them.

Ok For The Money
Safety gear, especially chainsaw safety gear is something you never want to find out first hand how good it is. I only really need type A for what I do but the course I'm going on stipulates type C so I got these as the price seemed reasonable. My only gripe really is the sizing, I am at a loss why manufacturers do the small medium and large thing for trousers. It makes buying stuff on line tricky, particularly for folk like me who don't have the time for sending stuff back. I'm a 35 waist with a short leg and these fit ok but I'm sort of in between at that and think maybe the large might have more mobility but at the expense of a much longer leg. My point being that waist size and leg length makes for a more informed choice for the mail order customer so manufacturers take note. Griping aside I've worn them a few times now and they've been fine, they're warm in the legs where the padding is but cold around the bum where the material is very thin. ( a strange sensation on a cold day ). I've not worn them in warm weather yet so I can't say what they will be like then. Fortunately the safety aspect hasn't been put to the test yet.

Brilliant quality
Brilliant quality and they fit perfectly get a pair of braces to hold them up. Very comfortable you can wear them all day. Washed very well just let them dry on the washing line as they are not tumble dry approved. I will definitely buy again if needed.

soft fabric pants. very soft and stretchy
Good pants. Very soft fabric. but sadly i did choose wrong size.. Did buy size L for my 188cm and 94kg but i did need more like XL instead

Great for the price
I bought these for occasional climbing jobs. They're perfect for my purpose. Sizing is an issue with all chainsaw trousers, often needing a size or two bigger. I always wear 36W 34L jeans which are just slightly loose on me. I got these Oregons in XL and they're OK, maybe a bit too loose. A belt will hold them but the waist bunches up on me so I've bought braces. I prefer them a bit loose for climbing but I could easily wear these XL over jeans or trackies. They are also longer fitting than the measurements suggest. I could have easily taken the L. Quality wise they're alright. Very good for the price but not heavy duty by any means. Very nice material to wear, could be worn all day by any worker. I definitely wouldn't trust them to stop my 4hp saw but ideal for the top handle I think. What they are not is heavy duty protection but they aren't advertised as such. I'm sure the reports of being damaged by brambles etc could be right. I wouldn't use them for that kind of work. Velcro pockets are a bit annoying too. All in all, I'd definitely buy again for what I want them for.

NOT type C
Ordered a medium size, fits perfectly. I'm 32w32l. Comfortable and lightweight. Probably go to need braces or I shall be forever pulling them up. They were described as Type C all round protection but are actually Type A front protection. Not an issue for me as I only use a saw on the ground.
