Issue with product
I ordered these for a workmate 8 which I believed they would fit, however I found that the locating peg that fits into the base of the workmate is about 1/16 of an inch short of the hole on the workmate - I was going to return the product but found that I could make it fit by shaving the excess from the peg with a Stanley knife so as to make it fit. I obtained the same product from Temu which had same issue - but they only cost £5 (seemingly same manufacturer same part number)! I'd previously bought aftermarket replacements before and not had this issue.

Genuine parts
You Tube et al contain descriptions of how to fit these springs, often referring to modifying them to fit e.g. 3-D printed items. No such issue here. Fitting was a little challenging, but proved easy enough once the first one was in place

Workbench Feet
Absolutely perfect, thought I would be unable to get these as the workbench is so old. Would recommend this firm for any workmate parts.

Doesn't fit
The original component (white in the photo) has a slot that fits over the metal plating of the workmate. On the replacement, this slot is blocked by a web, so will not slide into place. If the web is sawn out, the remaining material would be too weak, as the replacement is marginally shorter than the original, so is useless. It is possible that Black and Decker had more than one design for this component, but the original component is not stamped with a part number, and I have been unable to find a diagram of parts on the web.
