6-Inch (306PMKII) Keep It Simple Stupid
After months of research even going into tons of stores. I'll cut to the chase of my simple small setup that didn't cost a fortune. 2 - 6-Inch (306PMKII) I'm wondering what the 8's sound like 1- SMSL100 DAC Money well spent (Bluetooth, Fiber optics, and supposedly from other reviews I can add a subwoofer to the rca out.) Will update this in the future. Cables 2 - 25ft xlr cables I was tired of using boring rca cables 2 - power cables for the speakers Obviously included 1 - power cable for the DAC Obviously included 1 - Fiber optic cable from my tv to the DAC. Why? because I noticed a big difference in sound quality from using bluetooth since I have had these. Since August no subwoofer added to my system but I do plan on getting one eventually. That is all that I am using. No overpriced home audio equipment. I don't have thousands of wires running around my room or wall or cottage that I live in. I use two remotes one for the tv and one for the DAC. I can run my pc via Bluetooth to the DAC but recently I noticed a big difference in quality from using the fiber optic cable. So I run Amazon Music from my tv now(Settings set to HD and up quality in the app). I went with 25ft cables so I can move them around in my cottage with no problem. I have cranked this up full max and have not noticed much distortion. I do this on a Monday when the neighbors are at work and I pretty much have the grounds to myself. It gets loud and the bass is pretty intense. Subwoofer will be next and I'm not sure what I want to do with that. Either a JBL to pair it or to try a $100 compact sub a space savor and to learn from it. I listen to anything that doesn't suck so sorry to you mumble rap crap fans. Classic Rock to the 60's even real hip hop 2 Pac Ja Rule etc...... The speakers are crisp and just right. Klipsch was too tingy. Kef and others out of my price range but sounded incredible to but I wanted a simple small setup and this fit the bill. Pictures and video coming soon 1-20-2023

Excellent General Use Computer Speakers for Non-Professionals
I don't usually review many products, but these speakers are so exceptional I had to take a moment. I am not an audio professional, or audiophile, and don't pretend to be. I bought these for computer use. I had Klipsch 2.1, the old ones, but subwoofer appears blown, and new ones cut corners on quality (imagine a corporation doing that, color me shocked, LOL). I bought used Logitech 623 2.1s, they have good bass, and are fine for most pop music and rap, with robust thumping bass, but their upper and mid is brutal on any remotely sophisticated music where you want to hear something besides bass or a synthesizer. Klipsch had 2 speakers, one for highs, one for mids, in each satellite speaker, M623 only had one speaker. I ordered these after serious research, and am blown away. The clarity of sound is astounding. I feel like the piano or violin or guitar is being played right next to me. I keep them permanently on 7 volume, adjust with computer, madcapped volume totally sufficient for my computer, and obviously much bigger and more powerful than most smaller 2.1 sets. Without a sub, that thump for some rap gone, but this is not a product deficiency, I'm going to pony up for sub now that know these are awesome. I noticed a significant, massively, improvement in sound quality placing them on stands. I bought the IsoAcoustics ISO-L8R155. Insanely overpriced, the stands, but didn't see any other options I liked. Don't even think of buying these without stands. The difference is astounding. I was really on the fence about shelling out about $275 for two speakers, by the time you pay tax and shipping. I got the Logitech $40 used on Craigslist. These were worth every penny, and would be even if they cost $100 more. The clarity and purity of the sound is almost impossible to overstate, versus even really good computer speakers. These speakers actually made me go back and listen to tons of music hadn't heard in awhile just to appreciate the richness of voices and instruments. One final note, I had a buddy in college decades ago who had JBLs blow on him, and they replaced them. That stuck out in my mind all these years later, when Klipsch unfortunately began cutting corners and selling inferior products. The tech guy at JBL Pro was super knowledgeable, and I feel like that factored into the decision a bit. Do not hesitate to buy these for computer use. They are worth every freaking penny and you will not regret the decision. You'll find room on even a small desk, and be happy you did, LOL. I might have gotten the 6" speakers, as they don't cost much more, If I had it to do over again, and will probably get the 8" for my home. Just to beat it to death, the clarity of the sound, the purity, the truth of it, is almost impossible to overstate. I am listening to John Denver, after Bruno Marrs, after Mariah Carey, after Benzino and NWA, and simply can't ever go back to cr$ppy 2.1 sets after just a few days of these.

Pretty darn good
I was deciding between this and other subs, like Klipsch 120SW. I got this because it's a studio sub that has balanced inputs, and has extended LF. At first, I wasn't impressed, but I had my settings wrong. It also made some coil noise, but that went away after I broke it in, which took like an hour. This thing can really bump. Granted, it's not a 12" sub, but for a 10" it goes really low. It can get loud too. I'm running it from my iMac --> Audient iD14 --> sub. It's paired with KRK Rokit 7" studio monitors. Sounds fantastic. I'll keep testing it just to make sure I'm keeping it. So far, so good. It vibrates my entire house because of the extended low frequency.

Best sub I’ve owned
This sub is powerful enough to shake my entire house & maybe the house over. I’m extremely satisfied with this product; I paired it with 2 jbl 308 mkll’s and it’s been everything I needed: loud but equally clear, punchy, and most importantly ACCURATE. I have Behringer dt 900 pro x’s which is a mixing & mastering headset thats overkill for someone who just listens to music…but I have always hated how if you don’t have quality ‘instruments’ to hear your music through, you will never hear the piece how the artist intended & this sub rock & monitor set rocks. Rocks better than my 2 12” box with 4 jbl clubs in my car & better than this professional headset. If your looking to get a sub I would get this for any use case. I waited about a year 1/2 for this sub to go on sale, waited all the way till black Friday and it just didn’t. This sub will last you over a decade, this technology is mature & jbl is a phenomenal brand which an emphasis on longevity.

Very good sound for the price I paid (700$). Good bass, I was mildly surprised at what the 6.5 can do. And scales with a good source. A bit large the size may surprise you for 6.5" units. The cabinet isn't as well built as higher end monitors, but suffices and is sturdy enough. Front piano finish looks nice but stains easily.

Hi, I am not by any means experienced with audio tech as this is the first studio grade subwoofer I buy, but I wanted to give my opinion after using it for 2 weeks now. I am really happy with this subwoofer, the bass feels very pleasant and precise (I mostly listen to House music and watch movies on this system) and it is very powerful. It can light up the neighbours if you wanted to, but at the same time the bass feel cosy in all the output I have so far tested. I paired it with 2 x T7V Adam monitors and I am very happy with the crossover 80Hz option which sounds best for me. I like the style of the subwoofer itself as well. I give it 5 stars because I got this subwoofer on a deal for 400 CAD and I think for this money it is an incredible bargain. It is premium sound, professional look and a deep, comfortable output. It is worth spending on it if you want the all round machine - only thing I would say for you to consider, make sure you have the space for it. It really is like a bulky bedside table, no exaggeration. Nevertheless, 5 stars an awesome buffer, arrived easy an on time as well. Thanks !
