A Useful Item in the Kitchen
I don't know how I've never look into getting a salad spinner soon. As soon as I got this, I've used it everytime I cooked vegetables. It removes the excess water from the vegetables and makes them tastier when cooked since it is not flooded with water after cooking. The bottom has a grip but you still need to hold on to it otherwise, it spins out of control. It is a bit bulky but useful for what I need it to be.

Ok arge capacity
This will hold a lot of product. I appreciate you can push down to turn it, then be hands free while it continues to turn. I also like the fact you can then use the bottom as a serving bowl. This is light weight and easy to clean.

Your salad will thank you
Never knew there was a product like this. My niece uses one and could not get over the difference. Salad tastes so much cleaner and crisper and lasts longer. After a few weeks I was late starting dinner and did not use and will never do that again. My husband wassurprised at the big difference and said if I am rushed for time , he will give it a spin. easy to use and keep clean.Very pleased.Michal Baier

Works well.
This definitely spins the heck out of lettuce. One good push of the button sends this thing into warp speed. However, the hump on the bottom of the lid that houses the gear is really big. You can't fill it up all the way with your greens or the hump smashes it.I do find myself flipping the greens around after the first spin and spinning again to really get the water off. It's not a perfect spinner, but it works well and the bowl is huge.

Does a great job of drying greens
Received this as a Christmas gift, and I wish I would have gotten one years ago. We try to eat lots of salads, and both grow and buy a lot of greens. I used to rinse them and set them on a dish towel to dry, which took about an hour. Now I can spin them dry in about 30 seconds! I like that you can put your greens in the outer bowl, fill with water, swish around, then pour them into the basket, put the basket into the outer bowl and spin. You don’t have to dirty a separate bowl to wash the greens. It is sturdy, and its bulk does take up a good amount of shelf space, but definitely worth it.

Stopped working for no apparent reason
I used this maybe 5 or 6 times since I purchased it back in February and it worked well. When I tried to use it yesterday it wouldn’t plunge down more than a tiny bit and of course it wouldn’t spin. Nothing happened to it to change the way it should work, it just stopped working. I examined it to see if something was blocking the mechanics but couldn’t find anything that looked broken or bent. Of course I’m out of the warranty and return window so I guess I’m out of luck. I would not recommend spending your money on this spinner.

Not fast enough
I had to compare results to my last spinner. My last spinner spun by pulling a string. That string gave out after a few years but it was really good at getting my lettuce dry because it spun fast. So when i got this one, I liked that it looked easy (no string pulling), but I was hoping for the same result - Dry and crisp lettuce. Well, it does not spin fast enough. I try to pump fast hoping to give it more speed, but it doesn't help. My lettuce is still a little wet. I cant settle for soggy lettuce. Im gonna have to return it.
