This product actually is working for me ,I have had an exposed root, due receding gums ,for years why has no one ever told me you can repair your gums.I am using it at least 3 times a day after brushing ,it works best if you sleep while it's working.Every day is better than the last ,my gums are nice and pink and getting healthier.Thank you !!! ( I wish I had taken pictures ,but I was self conscious of how bad it was )

Bought due to full mouth extractions with reccomend by a dentist to, use PerioSciences AO gel regularly to avoid the irritation becoming worse. It works wonders! I continue to use due to denture irritation and it helps me.

been using this for about a year now had gum probmlems key word is had this product has helped tremendously.dentist is very happy with resulys and so is his patient.

The gel is very good and works as it is supposed to. It helps with gum inflammation and helps with the mouth soft tissue. Follow the instructions and should be good to go The issue that i have is that its so small especially for the price - thats why its 4 out 5 stars. I am also questioning why its made to look bigger than is. A bottle inside a bottle with a small area actually filled with product -

I developed lichen planus a few years back and this is the only thing that helps control it outside of corticosteroids. It's refreshing to be able to use something natural versus rubbing an ointment or drug on my gums, knowing that I am digesting some of it. Also, knocks out any gum inflammation and soreness within days. Yes, it's expensive but considering the alternatives.

My dentist recommended the gel and/or the rinse in the AO hydrating formulas. I BOUGHT BOTH. They are really helping my “dry mouth.” You may not know this, but dry mouth can cause so many problems, like cracked crowns for example. I KNOW because I’ve recently had 2 cracked crowns, and one crown that just fell off, all caused by dry mouth. Dry mouth can also cause mouth sensitivity, as all toothpastes began burning the inside of my mouth except for Biotene Gentle Mint (but it’s so tasteless I don’t feel like I’ve brushed at all, LOL.) but I still have to use it to avoid the burning sensation of all other gentle toothpastes I’ve used. And I’ve tried them all! Anyway, I was also using Biotene gel & rinse for dry mouth, but it didn’t help me much. My dentist said this PerioSciences was developed by a dentist, I believe in Fort Worth, Texas, and is superior to Biotene, by changing the chemistry of your mouth and tissues to correct dry mouth issues. I’m very happy with these Hydrating PerioSciences except for the cost. The gel is my favorite but cost the most. I just put one little dab on the end of my finger then transfer it to my tongue to swish all around my mouth tissues and teeth, then spit out the rest. Do not rinse or eat or drink for 30 minutes. The gel taste takes a little getting used to. It’s a good taste, but odd compared to most dental products because it has the taste of “Sage” in it. Makes me think I’ve just had Thanksgiving dressing/stuffing. But, that’s not a bad taste in fact it’s rather nice; just DIFFERENT from the usual mint or cinnamon of most oral products. I highly recommend !

The taste is ok not bad, but it did not help much if at all. I have many receding gum line. So I understand that everybody is different, since it's costly I used a Q-Tip to apply a small drop then rub on my gums, I feel it's the best way to apply and not waste it as it's costly. But I did it twice a day Morning and just before bed time, not water or drink after for at least 30 min. I think I did it for 2-3 weeks and no real improvement. Buy was worth a try and would suggest to try it...

This stuff is amazing! I am 79 years old and have been fighting painful gum inflammation while waiting for extractions. I have tried several other products and techniques I used in the past to deal with gum disease and nothing was working. Within 2 days of first using this product, the inflammation and discomfort is resolving. I will keep this product on hand to use at the first sign of periodontal problems.
