This item is for my wife she needs a hip replacement. This helps with lifting her leg when I am not available. Was suggested on you tube video. It def helps as needed. It is bendable and straight (rigid) as required for lifting. I was unsure how it would be due to past reviews but it does work for what it is intended Im not sure what other people did with it, It helps with getting in bed from a seated position as well as to get backwards farther in recliner. It is a good weight not heavy or awkward . Can be bended to put on walker handle to have withing arms reach. I cant believe it was under $10 The straps are comfortable and hands dont slip off when using. we thought the strap might have been too long as she is only 5'4 but it is a good size bc depending on what it is needed for ( moving from a sitting to up on bed, or from laying to up more in bed ) she can used the multiple Straps(handles ) as needed to get a better grip. Only wish would have known how helped it would have been before now.

A lifesaver after knee surgery! This strap was perfect for helping me lift my leg in and out of the car, on and off of the bed, and even to help me do some of my stretches after having total knee replacement surgery. The length of the strap has enough stability to keep it straight while the foot strap is plenty big enough for me to easily get my foot inside of, even with a shoe on. I’m pleased with the quality and appreciate the foam grips which help keep the strap from digging into your hand. As one who reads all of the reviews on numerous products before I choose which one to purchase…I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this after a total knee replacement. I was so weak and quickly frustrated to have to ask for help even getting into bed. This strap gave me independence in the beginning of my recovery, something I didn't have much of. A gait belt can be used to achieve the same results, but I found this much easier to use. It's flexible, but sturdy, and I felt more confident moving my weak leg with this. I would have given five stars, but the inner support broke as the first joint after a few days. While this didn't affect the function greatly, it made the strap floppy and a little more difficult to place.

I have lymphedema and this is a great help getting into bed. It could helpful getting in and out of the car, too.

Recovering from hip replacement surgery, this leg lifter is perfect for lifting my affected leg to assist in getting in and out of bed. It's rigid, strong design is exactly what's needed to easily put my foot into the leg lifter and maneuver my leg, no flopping around to place my foot in it. Well worth the 10 bucks and helps tremendously while recovering from surgery...or any leg mobility issues.

This leg lifter is God quality & offers padding for feel & hands when you use it. It must be packaged up, thus it folds & unfolds in three pieces. I am recovering from a broken femur and find this to be useful!

Excellent leg lifter that I have been using after total knee replacement both getting into our vehicle as well as a very high bed. Large for loop with padded bottom and multiple hand loops for lifting by both tall and shorter people. I like how it maintains its full length position but is still foldable if needed.

A fabulous device for getting in & out of bed after Hip surgery. I could manage without it.

Just had knee replacement 2 weeks ago. This lifter is handy to get the operated leg into bed. It’s good that there is a metal inside the lifter as it makes it more sturdy. Wish I would’ve had this lifter when I had my other knee done. Would recommend.

This leg lifter was an absolute godsend post-surgery - i'm talking knee replacement level. It was super easy to use, flexible enough to maneuver, but sturdy enough to give me the support I needed to get my leg onto the bed, the stool, wherever. It made recovery that much smoother. Great value for money and a real must of you're facing similar surgery. I recommend buying two - one for upstairs, one for downstairs - then you don't have to carry one up and down stairs with all the other mandatory stuff. It reqlly was a game changer. Easy to grip. Easy to slide foot in and out of and with an additional second hand loop halfway down.
