This is the best of 4 filters I've recently tried. It works the best by far. It's not small but fits better than the Tetra Whisper and is more quiet too. The turtles love the waterfall stream and so do.guests. It's easy to clean but pulling the 2 separate media cartridges can be a bit of a pain. My only complaint is I wish they slid in and out more easily.

This product was better than original supplied with filter. It absorbs so much dirt from the water. Happy turtle who gets the best benefit of having the water stay clean for a long time

I've had this filter for about year an a half now . My African side neck turtle ( Bowser) is in a 75 gallon tank . With this filter . It's an amazing filter . I paired it with a bubbler on other side of tank to push water to the filter. But it cleans great. not noisy at all not like my other tank . Filters are easy to change. I do have one issue that's why only 4 stars .I've had to put a bridge underneath to help support the weight of it . It pushes a lot of water when it's plugged in causing the suction cups to not really work because the weight of the water flow . Like I said though I just put a turtle bridge underneath it and suctioned the cups to the side and still working perfectly fine .. hasn't moved or came unsucktioned since .

The media could not be loaded. As of now it's 5 stars as it cleared up the turtle water very well (water is clear but may look greenish in video as tank is on top of teal colored stand). Virtually no noise. We have 1 turtle in a 35 gallon tank. Sits nicely against the inside wall of the tank. I haven't had any issues with it moving as I have it tucked into the corner and up against the top lip of the tank. I like that the top can be removed and the filters cleaned. Turtle appears to like as he was sitting under the waterfall one day. If it lasts I will be very happy. (I also treat the water with Flukers Eco Clean which helps keep the water clean)

I have three turtles of different ages and have tried a lot of filters over the years, but this one is by far the worst.First off, it barely cleans the water. My tank has never been this murky, and it’s really frustrating.Second, the design is awful. The filter doesn’t stick to the tank because, once it fills with water, it gets so heavy that it starts sinking. I had to prop it up on a platform just to keep it in place.Third, it’s unsafe for turtles. The current is way too strong, even on the lowest setting. My turtles get caught in this endless cycle where they’re pushed down by the clean water coming out, sucked back into the intake at the bottom, and brought up to the waterfall over and over again. It’s stressful to watch and dangerous for them.The only good things I can say are that it’s easy to set up, simple to clean, and pretty quiet. But those small positives don’t make up for how poorly this filter works or how harmful it is for turtles. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone unfortunately.

This works great in my 75 gallon turtle tank. I wish it came with more filters. I ordered some new ones , I hope they work good. It’s not as quiet as it claims. But works great.

So I got this for my turtles tank because 1, it is low water level and 2 it looked like it would be hard for him to mess up. It is perfect so far in both those aspects. The water flow is great it cleared up the tank in a matter of hours and my turtle who is notorious for destroying filters has yet to break this one.
