GEPLAD 12-Pack GU10 LED Bulbs 6W, Dimmable, 3000K Soft White 582LM, Replacement 50W Halogen Light Bulb for Spotlight Track&Recessed Lighting,No Flickers

Fits and works, but here's what you should know that isn't in the listing info. Definitely a GU10 bulb and connection fit, but this bulb is about 1/16" longer than the GE GU10 they're replacing. Other reviewers noted the extra length, too, so I was aware ahead of ordering and okay with it. If you're sensitive or exacting about how the bulbs set in your appliance - flush versus protruding - the difference may be huge. Diameter is same. My GE halogen bulbs were not flush to my range hood, but they were close at the edge, with a rounded lenses. The GEPLAD bulbs, with white edges and because they're longer, stick out noticeably more, about 1/8". Other: * The GEPLAD is whiter and brighter, and because they're LED instead of halogen, don't get scorching hot, save electricity. Nice! * The difference between low and high light settings on my range with the GEPLAD bulbs is not as pronounced as with the old bulbs. I'm writing this review after getting the bulbs today. I'm hopeful they last "up to 20000 hours or over 13.6 years" as published.

Nice and bright

The negatives: 1. This and the Amazon Basics version do not have smooth surface for suction cups so they will not work if your light needs a suction cup to put bulbs in and out. 2. The Amazon Basics is rated 500 lumens and this bulb under review is rated at 580 lumens, but it is not as bright. 3. I'm going to claim the light quality is not as good as they were bugging me in a work area versus 35watt halogens and I quickly switched in my Amazon Basics with no problems versus the halogens (this is quite subjective and all lights do look a bit different from each other even though in this case both were the 3000k "warm" lights which still is a bit cooler than the old incandescent 2700k warm standard.) Positives. 1. $15 for 12 is an insane deal for dimmables. 2. Not only are these dimmable, but both these and the amazon bulbs work great with my non-led dimmers in my house. 3. These are rated 6W versus Amazon 7W 4. These are still noticeably brighter than the 35watt halogens which spec at 380 lumens. (maybe they're 480 lumens and the 580 is a misprint?) 5. These have a 20,000 hour lifer versus the Amazon 10,000 hour life and so will last twice as long making them an extreme value given the price. I've installed all twelve and this is just my impressions from this process and no significant actual use. I've just made sure they come on and work with my dimmers. (I'm saving all my halogen bulbs for my more recessed fixtures that require the suction cup for installation.)

These GEPLAD GU10 LED Spotlight Bulbs work really well, and the only reason I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the color wasn’t right for my room—that’s on me, not the bulbs. The bulbs are bright and clear, with strong daylight-style illumination. They turned on instantly, dimmed smoothly, and provided excellent coverage. Quality-wise, they feel solid and seem well-made. I was expecting a softer tone, but the 5000K daylight color is very bright and crisp, which would be perfect for kitchens, offices, or workspaces. Unfortunately, it was just a bit too cool for the area I planned to use them in. Overall, these are high-quality, reliable bulbs. If you’re looking for bright daylight lighting and choose the right color temperature, these are a great buy.
