Highly Recommend Kreitler Rollers!!!
I did a lot of research before purchasing this roller, and I am exceptionally pleased with this product. The Kreitler rollers are very well made (in the USA), the design is simple, and appears to be very durable. Although these are expensive, what you get is quality and I feel this roller set will probably last me for the rest of my life. I have been using this product almost every day for the past two and a half months, and I love it. It is the closest feel to road riding you can get for riding indoors, and it has raised my fitness while being stuck inside for the winter. I should mention that I changed the tires on my bike to trainers (instead of street tires) to ride on the rollers, and the only noise I hear while riding is from the drivetrain on my bike. I like the ability to fold up the unit in half and put it away when not in use. If I had one critical comment, which is not a fault of the roller, but my inexperience. There is definitely a learning curve getting used to riding on the rollers. The first few times I attempted to ride, I flew off the sides. But after several sessions, it was no longer a problem, and now I absolutely fly on these! Overall, I could not be more satisfied with my Kreitler Alloy Rollers.

Perfect even for a 1st timer!
It arrived in two different boxes, one had the aluminum rollers, the second one has the frame. Easy to set up, Kreitler‘s youtube channel has it all. Never used rollers before, but I have good bike balance skills ( ride with no hands, use both hands to take off jacket or put it on while paddling, which might be a big factor why I found it easy to use the rollers) which helped me to stay calm and have fun on the rollers. They coast a little bit, which I found it to be helpful to catch your balance. There is a good amount of resistance when your cadence is low, also on 90+ rpm. I have the 4.5 alloy, which has the least resistance, Kreitler also told me that I can order the smaller drums/rollers if I want to get more resistance, or/and add the fan. It was a smart investment, rather than buying a cheap model, then buy another one better!I love it and it really kicks assThank you Kreitler!!!

If you're ready to roll, these are the rollers for you
I've never ridden rollers but ride at 17-20mph on a converted mountain bike cruiser and about 19-23mph on my fixed gear so I went with the 3.0 rollers thinking I would need the extra resistance. Whoa! These are fantastic. I ride in the middle chain ring to warm up and then to the big chainring for a real workout. It took a couple of times riding these to get the hang of it but once I did it's like learning to ride a bike.If you're looking for high cadence, or warm up rollers for track bike events, maybe the 4.5 would be better. I'm still not quite in shape to ride my 48/16 fixed gear yet, but expect to within a couple of weeks. The construction is amazing. I'm super happy with these for my purposes: refining my technique and being able to ride indoors when it gets too icy.

Pricey, but a worthwhile investment for cycling enthusiasts and advanced riders
The praise that Kreitler rollers receive on cycling blogs, forums, and product reviews is justified. The rollers have been excellent for the first month I've been using them. The platform is stable and the drums roll very smoothly and quiet. While the cost of Krieitlers exceeds that of many other brands, it's worth the investment if you're into cycling and like to keep equipment for a long time.Diligent work on the Kreitlers has led to improved pedal stroke and balance on my bike. In addition to pedal stroke, I typically focus on relaxing my upper body (esp shoulders), keeping my core engaged, and cadence work. I leave the power stuff for the trainer. Keep in mind, it will take a little time and work through some frustration to be able to ride rollers smoothly. If you ride your bike regularly (at least 2-3 times a week), you can purchase the 3" drums without worry. If you want the most flexibility with accessories (e.g., fan), I'd probably recommend the 4.5" drums.

Very happy with my rollers
This is my first set of rollers so I have nothing to compare them to, but they are well built, and easy to assemble. We have been mountain biking for several years now and they were very easy to learn only took me about twenty minutes. If you have a mountain bike I would suggest getting a set of trainer tires they are very loud with a typical mountain bike tire. I almost bought the 4.5" rollers but I am glad I didn't I think they would have been too easy for me. I am riding in my middle chain ring and somewhere in the middle to low end of my cassette depending on how hard I want to push it. Overall I am very happy with my purchase just wish I would have done it sooner.

fantastic
AMAZING!You get what you pay for, and these are so much better than the cheap chinese rollers I had before. Definitely recommend to anyone on the fence. However if I did it again I would probably buy the bigger rollers instead of the 3.0 just simply so it would be easier for me to practice my spin. These wear me out a bit too fast, but just means I need to toughen up.

Well built and sturdy, relatively quiet as compared to indoor trainers
Whether or not rollers are for you or not is on you, that being said...Kreitlers are the gold standard of rollers and these are no exception (and to be clear, this sale in particular is for rollers and frame). Well built and sturdy, relatively quiet as compared to indoor trainers, etc.
