Oakley mens Oo9188 Flak 2.0 Xl Rectangular Sunglasses

I purchased these for my husband as a birthday gift to replace his older pair of Flax. The crisp white frame paired with the reflective lenses (Polarized & PRIZM) look really sharp and stylish on him. They fit his face perfectly and he says they feel comfortable. He also said the Polarized & PRIZM lenses make driving in bright sunlight much easier and helped him see more clearly during our recent July beach trip. Excellent quality and durability, as expected from Oakley, and at a great price!

If you like the original Oakley flak jackets chances are you’ll like these too. I had to do a double take when I first saw the price and I jumped on it I paid the little extra for the prizm polarized lenses and in total they still cost less than just a set of the same replacement lenses that came with the size glasses from Oakley they came quick and they are 100% authentic with the full kit (case and carry cloth). Compared to the originals it is an upgrade i aesthetic IMO and in comfort. Also Although the dimensions are nearly identical the 2.0 definitely wear and look a bit bigger on face and the lenses give better coverage. Also the lenses technology is superior in the 2.0 I would highly recommend spending the extra to get the prizm lenses the clarity and contrast is the best I’ve ever owned. With all of the available aftermarket and oem options available you can really customize the heck out of these they are a good universal option that will suit a wide variety of face and head shapes the lenses are super easy to swap, they are lightweight and grip your face good even when your sweating they are also very comfortable with a hat on which is definitely a make or break for me for sport Singapore glasses. All in all you just can’t go wrong with these especially if you can find them for a steep discount!

These are my go-to sunglasses. I bought them because I ran over my original ones. These are authentic and a really good deal. I absolutely love them. DO BUY if you need an AWESOME pair of sunglasses that will cut the glare of sun, water, early evening headlights, etc. My only issue, which I didn't even think about at first is, this lens is not ideal as for driving, at least for me, and I do a LOT of driving. They are really comfortable for my eyes because they cut ALL the glare. I mean like driving into the sun when most drivers can't see anything. This is great, but this also means you miss some necessary detail, like potholes and worn out road markings. Unfortunately, I had to return them, and the return is taking SO LONG that I had to go to the Oakley store and just buy the ones I needed. I ended up buying my usual, just Polarized lenses without the Prizm.

My husband's only complaint is they aren't as dark as his previous pair. He loves the comfort and quality!

I absolutely loved these Oakley Flak 2.0 XL sunglasses during the first two and a half. They're lightweight, super comfortable, and provide excellent visual coverage—almost to the point where you forget you're even wearing them. This is actually my second pair, and I even bought extra lenses early on after accidentally damaging the first ones (which I still miss, by the way!). Unfortunately, just like with my first pair, after about two years the lenses started to peel or flake—mainly around the nose area where there's more contact with the skin. I only ever cleaned them with the included microfiber cloth, water, and occasionally a bit of mild soap, so it's frustrating to see the coating deteriorate despite careful handling. To be fair, everything else held up incredibly well. The frame is still in excellent condition, the rubber pieces are just slightly worn (mostly a cosmetic issue), and even the nose pads and original case are still like new. I've never had sunglasses last this long before. That said, I don’t think I’ll buy this model again. I’m considering trying mineral glass lenses next, to see if they offer better long-term durability—hopefully something that can stand up to 5 to 10 years of daily use.

Great sunglasses! At the beach now, these glasses are cutting out the sun glares, and make doing things , like getting around, easy!
