They're work just as promised, and great price!
Great tags and work as promised! Very easy to set up. All I had to do was pull the blue tab out, a pairing request popped up on my phone and opened smartthings. It also notified of an update. You can change the ringtone and volume in the app as well. Its pretty loud, 105 db, which is about the decibels as many car alarms. However, its a tiny speaker, so don't expect it to sound as loud as a car alarm! As far as quality, of course, they're Samsung! Very durable and small enough to hide it in a purse, or even a wallet. If you're using for keys you won't need an additional key ring, it pretty much has one built into it. And its not bad looking either. You can get various protective covers for them as well. I highly recommend, especially at the current price reduction! Please know your tech products... I'm seeing bad reviews (not just for this item, but many) based on finding the tags when their phone isn't close enough to the tags. The location does not update until you are within the tags bluetooth range OR until another Samsung device grabs its location (meaning any other Samsung device belonging to anyone is near by, it automatically pings its location and then you immediately get the update).Furthermore, the reviews saying they went [x amount of feet (like 300) in the wrong direction] and its not picking up the tag, if you're retracing your footsteps for a lost item, you'll find it, so why would you go somewhere you were not to begin with? Illogical reasoning and illogical testing (also, what barriers could have been obstructing the signal, etc). And if an item was stolen, your hidden tag WILL ping once the signal is grabbed. Please stop giving bad reviews because you didn't research what you purchased and have no idea how it actually works.S/n: there are apps made by android developers that may bypass both the restriction to use these tags with other android phones, and the ability to find with locators other than via smartthings. However, I wouldn't base buying an item like this off of using a 3rd party app (especially if little is known about the app), and can also be removed at any moment.

Great for keeping track of our German Shepherd
After trying a very expensive collar-mounted dog tracker for our german shepherd and getting very sub-par results, I purchased these instead and returned that one. So far it's been great for not only tracking my dog, but helping me interrupt his barking by using the chime sound one would usually set off to find lost keys or something. Huge bonus for me!I can view his location no matter where he is, even if he's within wifi range (one of the shortcomings of the expensive system was you couldn't view their location within your wifi radius, and ours is our entire property). I wanted something for the rare occasions he manages to get loose, but I still want to be able to find him when he's nearby and I just can't see him, so I really appreciate that.It isn't rechargeable, and it doesn't give exact battery levels, but it will tell you when battery power is below 15% which I haven't hit yet and I've had it on him for a couple weeks now. I can also share the device with individual people in case i'm leaving him with family or otherwise not available to check on him, which is super helpful. All this for less than $30! I bought the 4 pack to use the extras for other things, but even with the cost of the 4 pack, i'm still at less than a quarter of the cost of that other system, which was only one tracker, it had to be removed every couple weeks to charge, people had to sign up for a whole new service to be able to track him, I couldn't use it anywhere on our property, it definitely didn't do anything to deter his barking, and it had to be renewed every five years for another $350+For anyone curious, yes our german shepherd is energetic, so no this would not work as the normal keychain. I put it in a sealed collar attachment, and then wrapped it in a soft but sturdy double-sided velcro strip that I wrapped around it in a small football shape to keep him from scratching it off or snagging it on a branch or something. So far it's holding up just fine.

Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 Review
I absolutely love my new Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2! It's made keeping track of my essentials incredibly easy with powerful tracking capabilities that quickly locate my keys, bags, and even my wandering pet. The Bluetooth range is excellent, and I can ring the tag remotely using the SmartThings app whenever I've misplaced something around the house. The directional finding feature navigates me straight to lost items with impressive accuracy. The battery life is outstanding, lasting for months without replacement, and the setup process is straightforward. It's compact, water-resistant, and the companion app is intuitive to use. This little device has saved me countless hours of searching and stress. If you're constantly misplacing important items, the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag2 is a must-have that I've already recommended to everyone I know!

Good, but expect maintenance.
I have one of these in all of my vehicles, on my wallet, keychain and dog. The ability to know where any of those are at any given moment is valuable. The battery does need to be replaced more often than I expected originally.

Works great!
Works great. I had luggage go missing on a flight and decided I needed to be able to track it in future flights. Works great and gives peace of mind while waiting at the carousel.

Works as imaginged - just not as a pet locator
It work as well as any other bluetooth device and inserts itself seemlessly into the Android environment.Caveat - as a pet locator it is woefully inadequate due to the range limitations of bluetooth. That is not a fault of the device.
