A cheap sieve, but fine.
Works fine, used for sieving algae from a tiny pond.

Nylon mesh strainer
Ok, this may be a strange review, but when is a strainer not a strainer? When it is a difusser! I know, butthis is why it was brought ! My daughter cam to stay, and had forgotton her hair difusser, (very curly long hair) and asked if I had a strainer, I only had a metal one at the time, obvoiusly no good for hair, so did what any mum does, went to Amazon found a plastic strainer and ordered next day delivery. (We were due to go out for dinner the next day, and frizzy hair was a no no) So this arrived and to my suprise it worked beautifully. Big, soft bouncy curls. So tbis strainer is no longer a strainer, but a light weight travel difusser that has so far been on several trips, and is still giving great results. Will it ever be a strainer? who knows but it is great for doing hair.

Great Quality
This product is of great quality, comes with two handles to hold on a pot to facilitate straining. The size was also very convenient, also the plastic surrounding is strong.

Unsure why the price is horrendous for such a product, but it is okay quality for the job. I would not buy it again from Amazon, though.

Perfect for rinsing pre-cooking
Just what I've been looking for. Fine mesh. Perfect for rinsing the starch out of rice before cooking or washing any small grains. Remember it is designed for this, the nylon/plastic mesh will not last long with hot rice or boiling water. It is simply for washing/rinsing before cooking. If you're looking to strain boiling water off your cooking you'll need a metal mesh strainer. Very pleased with my purchase.
