A powerhouse of an Android box for IPTV!
I was looking for a replacement for my Amazon Fire TV stick after it stopped working suddenly. After reading many reviews about the Formuler brand (and especially the Z11 Pro Max) against other similar brands and products in the same competitive bracket, I was impressed enough by it's offerings to try it out. This isn't like the cheaper Android streaming boxes that often flood the marketplace. This is a powerhouse for entertainment! Everything you need to get started in IPTV is in the box with the exception of external storage if required - I'm using a NAS system (network attached storage) for recordings of live TV etc but you could equally use a USB flash drive or external hard drive through the USB port. The supplied HDMI cable is of decent quality. I didn't receive the IR sensor that is listed elsewhere but as it has the Bluetooth remote, this really isn't an issue for me. Be sure to check out the Formuler Remote app to setup hot keys for your favourite apps/controls. One really nice addition to the contents is the soft-touch remote control cover! Initial setup of the box was very straightforward, with great connectivity using either the LAN port on the back, or using the WIFI6 option offering impressive speeds well above 580mbps. I love the addition of the Google Play store where you can get all the official apps for streaming music and film, making this a proper Android TV box. The only disappointment is that Netflix don't recognise the Z11 as a legitimate android device, so you have to get the app from MarketPlace instead of PlayStore. The downside to this is that you have to use the remote as a mouse type (press the hot key with 2 dots to bring up the cursor and use the D-pad, then press again to hide it). I was really surprised at how easy it was to login with my IPTV provider and have everything running within 10mins and includes the MyTVOnline app for TV which has a guide and layout akin to using SkyQ. You can even add the app to your phone which doubles as an IPTV player when you're out and about which is pretty cool. So far, very impressed overall. Fast, responsive, powerful processing and switching of apps, great sound quality and hasn't missed a beat yet. A bigger investment in comparison to a FireStick, but worth it. I just wish I had got this sooner!

Proper IPTV box with decent EPG software
Proper upgrade from the explosive twig. A bit more money but much more stable with a whole host of extra features. Only comment is the remote is a bit too clever for its own good, I ended up purchasing a second remote which offered IR only communication which was more compatible with an IR repeater system I am using. MyTV app is good, quality of the product is high.

Speedy little runner!
I've had this a few months now. Never had a problem with lag or anything. Plenty of memory so if you use loads of apps, you don't need to worry about space. Bigger remote with more buttons than other devices which makes navigation much easier and losing it down the back of the sofa much harder, the remote is really responsive too. Streams on demand great and no issues with live streams either. None of the little annoyances you get with cheaper options like lag, clunkiness, apps going wrong all the time, freezing, lack of space. If you're a serious content streamer who uses a lot of apps, it's worth paying out a little more for this box!

An Excellent IPTV Box
Tired of my Firestick's poor performance and crappy UI I did some research and settled on the Formuler as a replacement. This is an excellent IPTV box with a straightforward and snappy UI and great IPTV software in the form of MyTVOnline3. While not an all-round streaming box I can still use it as a Plex client for my own media library as well as running YouTube, Amazon Video and (with some simple side loading) BBC iPlayer.

Ok’is
This box is ok’ish. For iptv it’s great & the interface looks great but basically you’re paying for the exclusive app. As for an android box for everything else it’s mediocre. The picture quality isn’t as good as the shield or atv4k, you can’t get the official latest Netflix app & the interface looks cheap & unfinished. If it was better priced it would be worth purchasing for the myonline3 app alone but £150 for an app isn’t reasonable. The bundled remote was pretty good but I had to send it back as a box in the £150 price range it comes 3rd/4th at best.
