This adapter perfectly met my requirements for converting my camera mount, and I am thoroughly pleased with its performance thus far. It's gratifying to acquire precisely what I needed without being compelled to purchase unnecessary extras or an entire kit. The adapter exhibits excellent craftsmanship, has a substantial weight to it, and securely fits with my equipment threads, displaying no loose give. Overall, a well-made and dependable addition to my camera gear.

It's definitely smaller than I thought, but it works as expected.

I needed a converter for my tripod which has a 3/8" screw attachment to be able to attach my new Neewer slide / focus rail which has a 1/4" attachment. I found this in my search and for the priced I decided to order it and give it a try. It has a nice wide base to make attaching it to the tripod and slide / focus rail extremely easy. The threads were a perfect match for both items. It has a rubber / neoprene washer on top to help secure the camera. And it's made out of metal so it feels like it will last. I was definitely please with what I received.

Exactly what I needed to convert my camera mount and I am very happy with it so far. I'm glad I was able to buy the exact thing I needed without buying extras(set) or a kit of stuff I didn't need. This adapter is well made, weighty, and has no loose give with my equipment threads. Well secured.

Great. Beefy. Even though it is thick, I couldn’t screw the 3/8” screw in all the way because the screw was too long. So I added two fender washers to the stack and it is very secure. I’d still say it mates very well. My Orion tripod might have an unusually long 3/8” bolt.

I screwed the 1/4" male end of this converter into the 1/4" female end of my camera and barely tightened it before the entire 1/4" part just broke off inside my camera. I missed a scheduled shoot because of it and it took some doing to drill out the piece left inside my camera without damaging my gear. It was infuriating, a total waste of time and money. I feel foolish for not looking more deeply for a more quality adapter, instead going for the quick, cheap, easy choice. It only made things worse, and now I'm back to square one.I realized after it broke that this product is made of soft aluminum and will snap off with any real tightening onto the camera making it basically completely useless...because who wants their camera to be loose when mounted to the tripod. Terrible product. Avoid.
