We needed very flexible and thin cables for a specific application and these cables were perfect! These are a 3-pack of 2 foot (0.6m), straight SATA to SATA 6Gb data cables that connect to motherboards or host controllers for SAS/SATA hard drives, SATA SSD, and CD or DVD Drives. I’m in love with these thin SATA cables. Forget those super stiff flat cables that are such a pain to work with. Now I can never go back. These cables are slim and flexible. I did a NAS build in a compact ITX case from Jonsbo, and these cables were perfect. The case’s SATA backplane necessitated a very tight 90 degree bend for the sata cables. There was just no way to close the case up with traditional SATA cables. The connectors and end clips feel great. They fit snuggly and the clips are not too stiff. You do want to be a little bit gentle with the cables themselves since they are so thin. I wouldn’t say they’re fragile, but they definitely need a little more care than a traditional SATA cable. As far as performance, there’s nothing out of the ordinary here. That is definitely a good thing though! These cables are able to reach the SATA 3 standard speed of 6Gb/s, which translates to about 500MB/s in the real world. All in all, at a couple bucks apiece, these cables are outstanding! If you’re doing a build with a lot of hard drives, try these slim cables. You’ll be very glad you did.

I gotta say that these are cool. I just put together a new pc and was running into a little issue with one of my SATA cables. I got these and not only are they slimmed down but they are organized as well. Each cable is marked on both sides so you know which goes to which. (P1=P1, P2=P2), it doesn't seem like much but when you are snaking a cable from the front to the back you can confuse which is which. This is important (for trouble shooting) later on when you may or may not run into troubles. Ultimately, I like these a lot!

I bought these to assemble a new desktop with a full tower e-atx case. I thought I would need the length. However, these shorter cables turned out to be adequate: ELECTOP SATA III 6Gbps Straight Cable, Nylon Braided Cable with Locking Latch (20 Inch, Black,5 Pack) I only downgraded this product by one star because the ELECTOP cables came five to a package and were in my preferred color of black.
