5 Cup Replacement Stainless Steel Jar Set, Compatible with Oster & Osterizer Blenders

This jar/blade unit does a better job of mixing than the original glass one, which leaves still solid bits of food trapped below the blades. This accessory is also easier to clean than the original. The edge of the blade base disk was a bit sharp and rough; I smoothed and rounded it with sandpaper.

Out of all the cups I have ever bought for my Protein smoothie this one beats all the rest, Fits my oster blender it securely doesn't leak best of all it's easy to clean. I'm for sure gonna buy another one or probably two more.

I bought this because I was fed up breaking the glass jars. Its superlight weight, initially I was worried that it might get distorted even with small pressure but so far, I have been using it for making smoothies every day and it works really well. However, I wish it had a handle for holding it like other jars making it easier to use.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM The plastic of the lid and the screw base smell funny, even after a thorough washing. The first time I tried to use the blender jar it seemed to sputter and stall. At first I thought something was wrong with the blender motor, but then noticed a strong plastic smell coming from the base of the jar. When I flipped it over I could see that the plastic had started to melt around the metal center part. I tried to use the other jar, this time empty, and within a minute it too had started to melt and was sputtering to a stall. This is the correct style and size jar for the blender. They look exactly like the others that I have, the ones that I bought directly from Oster many years ago. This is just a case of cheap shoddy goods coming out of wherever.

Bought this to replace the glass one that I broke and it is fabulous Great Value sturdy and does the trick

The measurements aren’t too visible but looks stylish and works with my old blender. Great value.

March 05, 2019 Good product. The jar fits my 6640 model properly. It is convenient for senior citizen to handle and is safe when it was dropped by accident. I myself have dropped two jars, one glass and one plastic. Of course, both were broken! The only drawback is that we cannot look through the jar to see what happen when it is working. Anyway, I think that this product is worth what I have paid for. B. Dinh

É um produto bem caro por ser importado, mas é ótimo e se encaixa direitinho no Osterizer Classic (ver foto). O conjunto é todo desmontável, o que facilita muito a limpeza. A faca é a de seis lâminas e tritura rapidamente os legumes. O copo de metal tem marcações internas de quantidade em xícaras e mililitros, o que também ajuda bastante. O único senão é que o copo não tem alça para segurar e exige cuidado ao triturar alimentos quentes -- ele até tem uma alcinha perto da base mas não dá para segurar quando o copo está cheio de coisas quentes. A tampa também não fecha hermeticamente, é preciso manter a mão sobre ele quando estiver usando, só por segurança. Este conjunto transforma o Osterizer Classic num liquidificador muito semelhante aos de antigamente -- forte, eficiente e completo. Merece cinco estrelas pela funcionalidade, mas dei quatro por causa do preço.

Es de buena calidad, encaja muy bien en la base y no tiene filtración en la parte de abajo y algo que ayuda mucho es que en la parte interna tiene líneas de medición que te alguna para agregar las cantidades de tu preparación. Como observación: la tapa no es hermética por lo que si lo llenas si se te va tirar por los costados de la tapa...

This replacement is exactly as advertised and fit my relatively outdated blender with no issues. Good construction and materials and, although I'll miss being able to watch what I blend, I will not miss shattering plastic and the mess my old worn out jar provided when it finally failed during some harsh use.

Por fin! Ya no hay que sufrir por si se te resbala la jarra, además de ser más resistente, es muy ligera y manejable aunque no tenga asa. Aunque tengas aún la jarra de vidrio en buen estado, es una opción muy buena para la licuadora, sobretodo si sientes que te cuesta manipular la jarra de vidrio cuando está llena
