I purchased this for a PC case that I was designing and 3D printing. I wanted something that was unlikely to warp at high temperatures, so I chose this. So far, I have been satisfied with the results. This was my first time using ABS filament. The color is true to what it says, the black looked exactly what I expected. It looks and feels very similar to PLA, both on the roll and after printing. The filament feels sturdy and can support some weight, making it practical in mechanical situations. The PC case I printed was completed in November 2024 and it is still functioning as of January 2026, a testament to the quality of this filament. There are some differences for printing this compared to PLA that I think are important to highlight. When printing ABS, the temperature of the nozzle needs to be higher, the print speed should be lower, and it will print best in some kind of enclosure. This will help ensure that your ABS prints are the highest quality. Overall, I think this was a great choice. This was the cheapest option on the market at the time of purchase and the quality has been great. I would recommend it.

I’ve used several different ABS filaments over time, and while the Creality ABS for the K1 Max is a bit more expensive than other options, you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. One of the first things I noticed was that this ABS feels softer than other ABS filaments I’ve used. It’s also more flexible, making it easier to work with, especially for prints that require some durability without excessive brittleness. Despite this flexibility, it still maintains great strength, which is something I don’t always see in other ABS brands. The filament prints consistently and handles high-speed printing well. I had no clogging or warping issues, especially when printing in an enclosed setup. Layer adhesion was solid, and prints came out clean and smooth without excessive stringing. The only downside is the price—it’s on the higher end compared to other ABS filaments. However, if you’re looking for a more reliable and flexible ABS that delivers quality results, I’d say it’s worth it. Would definitely recommend for anyone printing with ABS, especially for projects where strength and a bit of flexibility are important!

Prints super easy, obviously always dry your filament. Pretty strong too

I bought this when I was new to 3D printing and needed something printed for exterior use. I cannot say I've been let down. Creality ABS Filament is top notch material. It worked perfectly with the Creality Print software that came with my machine. Great value for the money I paid. I only used about 2 meters and now just need to come up with more ideas so I can print some more.

I bought 2 ABS rolls back in April and June and just now opened them to use. 1 roll was fine for about half the roll the other was a problem right from the start. Both rolls wont allow the the extruder to feed the filament into the nozzle. If I swap out the Creality rolls for another brand it continues no problem, swap back to the Creality rolls, again it wont feed. I've run them both rolls through the dryer box to no avail. Like others I buy filament ahead of when I would use it so I always have it on hand, I now have 2 worthless rolls and lost money.

This ABS filament roll is an excellent value. Using Creality's "fast" filament made a significant difference in quality and consistency while reducing print time. Previously, I used ABS rated for 50-60mm/s, and attempting to print quickly resulted in a failed print!
