Regin REG-Y25 Rope Fixing Adhesive - Instructions Not Great But Good Item That Sticks
Main thing with this to use disposable gloves when using it or else your fingertips get messed up. Easy to use as comes with a little brush inside it. Best of any left in bottle can be kept and used at a later date if stored correctly. Husband not myself used this on our wood burner, some of the rope had come away so needed sticking. Looked at various items but this one seemed different in the fact that it came with a brush to apply not just a squeeze tube. So yes easier to apply. Woodburner was cold and it applied, left to stick then after twenty four hours we lit the stove but only on a low light and kept it like that until about an hour later than put the air vents to make it hotter. So gradually heated it rather than having a roaring fire blazing away in it. Well it stayed stuck ok. Next morning opened it up and yes still in place. So yes happy with product and even more so for the cost as cheaper than some others. Only thing I will say is that the instructions on back of plastic packaging a little hard to understand. We only did a small corner section of ours but there would be easily enough for the full size of our woodburner rope to be done and not done lightly. Had the wood burner going all day for two days since having this in one rope and stayed stuck fast so yes would recommend it. Husband did say there was a knack to doing it but if you look on the web there is a clip showing you what best way to do it. Soaking the rope first so that it absorbs the glue better and fits into the rim to fit better.

Great product well priced
Great little bottle of sticky goo for the rope surround on wood stoves. So much easier to apply with the brush applicator. I ignored the instructions as they were confusing just brushed out all the powerdy mess from the groove in the door and on the existing rope, applied the goo, waited 6 seconds for it to set slightly. pressed rope firmly back into the door groove held it for a minute or two and then lit a warm fire for an hour, then increased heat to usual full pelt. perfect. very pleased with result.

Woodburning stove cord adhesive
Brilliant product. I needed to stick back some of the cord around my wood-burning stove and it has done the job a treat. The instructions are way to intricate. I just slapped it on, left it for a few hours, burned some cardboard for a while and slowly built the fire up to a roar and it worked perfectly.

Fantastic - Value for money
Best price resin I found so was sceptical to use at first. Application process was so easy with the brush that comes with and barely used any of it - perfect result!

sticks well
Easy to apply and when first used I was suspicious and didn't think it would work. 6 weeks on and many hot wood burning fires - holding perfectly. So far so good.

Very effective
This adhesive dried rock solid quite quickly. Follow the curing instructions and it does just what it says on the tin (sorry bottle).

Excellent - Comes with a brush.....
This is a excellent product. Unlike normal stove glue that you have to squeeze on and it runs everywhere. This stuff is much thicker and you just paint it on. It has a much thick consistency than normal stove glue a bit like paint. I affix my rope in stages so that its easier to hold and set before you move onto the next bit. I also allowed it to dry slightly before pressing the rope onto it.
