Like any Honda products. It is excellent. Powers all my appliances on my Airstream, using only one. Airstream recommends two. I believe one is sufficient.

In most cases "you get what you pay for" and this generator is a perfect example of that saying. You are going to pay more for this item then other generators on the market but I personally think that this Honda Generator is worth it. Not knocking the other generators on the market but if comparing the Honda against the rest in a side by side comparison in person, you would probably better understand what I mean. The other generators will most likely work just fine and give excellent results but I prefer the Honda and other Honda items from my past experiences. Honda yard and garden tools have never failed me and I all my years, I have never had one break or had to have one repaired, nor have I had one not start and do its job and complete the job. I think that the two machines that are most relied upon to work every time are Snowblowers and Generators for power outages. I personally have two snowblowers, one for big jobs and a paddle wheel for doing walkways and getting right down to the pavement to remove a possible slipping hazard that a two stage snowblower will leave behind. The other item is a Generator for power emergencies which I also have two of. A power transfer type for long term power outages and this Honda generator for small emergencies. Yes they still require maintenance but so does every other motor driven mechanical item. Most maintenance is done if you want the unit to last and work when you most need it. Just to let you know that I practice what I preach, all my yard yard and garden equipment is Honda and I probably would not buy anything else. I am not rich but I will save up to buy what I think is the best product for me. I have only used this Generator 4 times since I bought it and it was used for camping only but it did what it was expected to do and I am sure that it will continue to do so. As far as fit, finish, fore thought, reliability and quality, this Generator seems to have that are covered. The only true factor is TIME and time will tell. If something does fail on this generator, I am not too proud to add that experience to this review. I hope this review helps.

I've had a Honda EU2000i generator for many years, and it has always performed flawlessly, so getting the EU2200i was the natural choice. It's an updated version of the EU2000i.The extra 200 watts doesn't sound like much, but when you live at a higher elevation like I do, about 5100 ft, it's helpful, particularly when you need to power electric heaters in addition to electronics.When they say this unit is "super quiet", they aren't kidding. My EU2000i was pretty quiet already, but this takes that to another level. If a quiet generator is important in your environment, you won't go wrong with this one.One very new cool feature is the Bluetooth link to your phone. With that, you can monitor power output from inside your house, and power output is a pretty good proxy for fuel consumption. The app also tracks hours of use, which facilitates good preventive maintenance.You can find cheaper units with the same rated power. Some of them are probably fine. But for an emergency situation, you want hardware that will just *work*, and Honda makes the best generators in the galaxy.If you need a generator in this power range, and you're not excessively concerned about the purchase price, you should just get this unit.TCS
