Beautiful Spellbinders embossing folder that I was able use on the Sizzix Big Shot
This Spellbinders Sparkling Snow embossing folder makes beautiful embossed cards. I didn’t read the measurements in the description, this folder is larger than other card making embossing folder that I’ve used. The description mentions use only with a Spellbinders machine. I was able to use it on the Sizzix Big Shot with the following modifications (bottom to top layers): the multi-platform is set at Tab 1, use 1 or 2 shims pictured (that came in the Sizzix Premium Crease Pad), Spellbinders embossing folder, and the Sizzix Texturz Impressions Pad on top. The Sizzix cutting pads were either too thin or too thick to use on the multi platform with the Spellbinders folder. You can use 1 or 2 shims depending on how you like the detail looks and feels. I also tried it without the shims and still got an impression on the cardstock. I used the folder on Recollections Iridescent foil cardstock (pictured).

Beautiful embossing folder. Will enhance this year’s Christmas cards. Has a clear pattern that embosses well and gives a clean image.
