Purchased this as a gift for my child. As far as I can tell, as an amateur, this guitar works well as an acoustic guitar. When first received, the electronics did not function properly, but the seller's customer service team took care of it without any hassle.

I paid 80 bucks for this kit. I know nothing about guitars or how to play. I have since watched over 100 youtube videos on how to setup cheaper guitars and what needs to be done to them, (usually anyway). The guitar looks really nice and except for a little over-spray on the binding around the body near the neck it seems like a really nice finish. 3 small pieces of wood fell out of the body hole when I took it out of the box. Looks like bracing wood. I don't know if something broke in the body or if these were just pieces of leftover wood. The guitar sounds ok. I cannot keep it in tune even after changing the strings to D'Adarrio's. I am going to replace the stock tuning pegs and see if that helps. The neck and frets seem good. The action at the 12th fret is above 6mm. Built in tuner and electronics seem good and the guitar has good all around sound. The amp is usable. Strings and strap are garbage. UPDATE 2/26/2024: I have had this guitar for almost a month. It is basically unplayable at least for a beginner. The action was not able to be adjusted. Trying to make a cord closer to the neck almost sliced my fingers open. I requested a return and was told I had to pay the shipping. UPS wanted 135.00 to ship it to California though their website says they have an address in New Jersey which is a heck of a lot closer to me in Wilmington, NC. I called them to speak with them but no one answered or called me back after I left a message. So now I have to eat the cost of this guitar making it an 80 dollar POS. I would not buy from Glarry unless they change their policy about returns. I am a very disappointed beginner.

This guitar kit is perfect for beginners. The guitar sounds good, is comfortable to play, and comes well packaged. All the accessories included are very useful, especially for someone just starting out. Great quality for the price and highly recommended.

If it wasn’t for the nice amp, I’d give it a 1 star. The microphone didn’t work, I had to buy a replacement.
