Superb powerful rotary tool, and quiet operating.

Very satisfied with this product.
Item have a high build quality. Spindle speed can be controlled by pedal with high precision. Shame that they do not include a desk stand into kit. Must buy separately or make one. I using my camera's tripod as a stand. Highly recommended product.

Buyer Beware
I purchased one of these for work a few years ago, after the prior model became a necessary piece of equipment but the parts were becoming hard to find. It has been used only occasionally, as our other two older models are still in good working order. Unfortunately the inner lead of the flexible shaft has broken (a hazard of the work we do) but I have discovered that the parts are currently not available anywhere in the UK and haven't been since February - with no word from Dremel to UK suppliers as to when they will be available again. Also they have changed the way the parts are fitted so now the inner lead is no longer available to purchase separately from the outer flexible shaft, like they were with the previous model. So if this lead breaks it is now necessary to pay almost £40 for the entire flexible shaft. Not impressed that I now have a machine that could cost a lot to maintain in future and is currently utterly useless!

Excellent for jewellery making
I am so glad I bought this. It is perfect for what I wanted it for - using in jewellery making. All of my drill bits and burrs etc fit it and the foot pedal is really reactive when using. It also looks really smart and professional. Highly recommend.

very surprised!!! but two units very poor and had to be returned with same fault after first operation, had to resort back to the 4000 model. I was very excited to try this model but have lost all confidence after my experiences using it.

Dremel Fortiflex
Very good machine. Plenty of power, speed very controllable. Wiring to foot pedal thick and difficult to manage. Required a post to hang up the motor. Instruction book is too simplistic and a list of the various attachments would be useful.
