5-Star product that I highly recommend.I hurt my back a few weeks ago and a coworker mentioned getting a TENS unit. He sent me a different Amazon model, but after some research, I went with the NEOCARBON SM9055 Black unit.This unit comes with everything including:1. A nice zip-up storage that holds everything. It has mesh pockets on both sides so nothing falls out when you unzip. It is very similar to what you would use to store an external USB hard drive.2. USB-C charging cable.3. Two connecting cables, one end goes to the unit (A or B) and the other end goes to two pads.4. 12 pads and two storage “stick pads here” for storage. So far, I’ve only opened 4 pads and they continue to remain sticky even after a handful of uses.5. User Manual and quick guide tells you how to operate the unit, where to place the pads, and how to troubleshoot.Pros:1. Between the TENS (12), RELAX (24), and EMS (36) patterns, there are 72 options.2. There is a timer and you can go from 10 to 60 minutes in intervals of 10.3. You have the ability to change the intensity on each channel independently.4. The intensity is no joke, plenty of “juice” in this little unit to get the job done.5. USB-C charging vice batteries.6. Ability to “lock” by pressing the power button so you don’t accidentally change settings.Cons:1. My only minor complaint is the intensity starts at 0 and you have to increase it manually each time.

First device had a problem in power button that eventually failed in week 3. I suppose that happens with anything you buy online.But the TENS was so effective in those first weeks, I returned for an identical unit which is working great +3 months later.Red pads supplied with Neocarbon unit are significantly better quality (more durable) than cheaper replacement pads (white). Plus, I found that the adhesive from the white pads irritated my skin after prolonged use. Red pads did not.Unit recharges quickly as advertised, and might last the represented 50 hours if you use the lower power setting. But running at full blast in EMS mode on both channels it will go closer to 35 hours.Unit is very handy, portable, intuitive to use and has adequate power. Case is a nice addition to hold supplies.TIP: If you are using this a on your lower back or legs, I recommend a back-up set of wires. While the original wires are tough and hanging in, if they are running across your back or down leg, they will take a beating from the accidental yanking and snagging on clothes. I've started using surgical tape to hold the slack in place against my skin. But unit and wires are still getting knocked around.Not sure these things work for everyone, but mine has been a game changer and I go to sleep every night with it set on 60 min. Dare I say these are addictive. When my sciatica is bad, I use it 12 plus hours / day. So addicted, I am looking at the 4 channel model before too long. However, this addiction is far less problematic than using pain meds and nearly as effective with constant use.This is a DEF recommend

I like this unit. I'm upgrading from a unit I was given at a pain management clinic 15 years ago. It had only 1 mode with 5 patterns. I like the different modes, although I haven't had it long enough to determine the actual differences in the different modes. Now to the manual. In section 0.5 "Which Mode Should I Use," on page 17. It states, "The device offers 3 modes (TENS, EMS, and RELAX) and 8 patterns inside each mode, shown as variants, resulting in 24 different patterns." In actuality, each mode has 12 different patterns, resulting in 36 total patterns. Second, on pages 19 & 20 there are numbered graphic images representing the different patterns in each of the 3 modes. Each graphic has a number under it. Under TENS PATTERNS the graphics are numbered 1 through 12. Under EMS PATTERNS the graphics are numbered 13 through 24. And under RELAX PATTERNS, the graphics are numbered 25 through 36. But on the actual physical unit screen, the patterns are numbered 1 through 12 in each different mode. TENS PATTERNS are numbered 1 through 12. EMS PATTERNS are numbered 1 through 12. And RELAX PATTERNS are numbered 1 through 12. So the numbers under the graphics in the manual doesn't accurately represent the patterns in the EMS or RELAX modes. You can just write your own correct numbers in the manual.Other than the manual not accurately representing the program in the unit, I like the diversity of the device, and the rechargeable battery will help stop going through the $5 each 9 voltage batteries. It will take a while to see how long it will run on a charge. The pads are really sticky when first used. Much better than the pads on my old unit. I had to use paper skin tape to hold those on. This unit doesn't have a belt clip like my old unit, so will try using it in a pocket.

Bought this a few weeks ago. I am travelling often and playing tennis, so this was a perfect fit as its portable.Many modes and the battery life is excellent, only charged it once in a months worth of use. Only downside is the pads lose their stickiness relatively quickly. Thankfully it is a cheap and easy to replace, its been about a month.

This unit is freaking amazing!!!!The battery last for forever, well I mean for a long time. I only charge it every few days and it still more than half a battery.The modes are amazing. Not sure behind the science, but I honestly feel like I'm getting a massage from a person in the relax mode. My pain goes away and makes my shoulder feel good as new. Honestly, I had chronic shoulder pain and tried ice, massager and medicine. This unit did more than all those combined.Well worth the money
