A perfect introduction to Hindu mythology
It’s a great intro into Hindu mythology. I like that the stories are kept short. Even though it might be considered a book for children, I’m an adult and I love the format.

I feel this book doesn't fall under Kids category
The Quality of the book & its print is good. (Reason for 3 star)But I feel this book doesn't fall under Kids category as many stories are involving killing, explaining as 3rd wife etc. is difficult to make kids understand.Moreover, the intention is to show a higher number of stories rather than explaining it in detail. It seems incomplete if you read any story.

Not quite what i expect
Browsing through the book randomly, we were quite shocked with the illustration and description. To be fair we don't know who is Ravana's sister but felt it doesn't fit into our family values so decided to return it. This book was bought for my 9 year old son.

Very good book for kids
Recived nice condition new book , very good as bed time stories for children, especially for slightly older NRI kids who are not so much aware about Indian mythology.

Gorgeous book
Love reading these little stories to the kids. Not exactly kiddy stories (I guess the myths are a bit complicated) but its a lovely book to keep forever.

May say childrens book, but no age range clarified. Please be aware some of the pictures within may not be appropriate for children. I'm no expert on what is the appropriate age range for a couple of decapitation pictures. Otherwise the myths & legend stories are there, albeit not necessarily in chronological order.
