This is fantastic and exactly what I wanted. I already have some carabiners from a different yoga hammock I bought, but that one isn't the silk material and has no give to it nor is it long enough for some of my favorite poses. If you actually read and understand the directions you are plenty safe using this, the people complaining about the knots slipping are not doing it right at all. That being said, there will be stretching that happens with a hammock like this and you will likely need to re-adjust the height you have it set at over time as it stretches a few inches. So far its held up fine, just be mindful to take off jewelry (especially rings, especially diamond rings) as it can snag and tear at the fabric- same thing goes if you have some narly finger or toe nails so be mindful. Hardest part of setting this up for me is getting it nice and even once knotted, and I had to redo it a few times to get it the right length fo my set up (needed more loose silk on the knot ends so I could get it high enough up on my ceiling and still give my head clearance on the floor)

I have a niece who is hyper active and ADHD ad I wanted to get her something she could use indoors as not just something to play on, but a place where she can get into and escape if she's having a bad moment or just wants a little personal escape. I had purchased a different one for her intially. That one was made of a cargo netting material and while she absolutely seemed to love it, when my mom was facetiming with her, her foot got stuck in the net. It wasn't that big a deal, I guess, as she did manage to get her foot out by herself and it probably took less than a minute. With that said, I just wasn't comfortable with her using it, especially in a room by herself, even if her mom is just in the other room. So I began my search for another more safer option. Something she could swing and play in but did not have any small holes for her limbs to get stuck in. I will say that I did initially look at actual therapy swings that are marketed for that purpose. The thing with the actual therapy swings is that they didn't really have any good reviews and the ones that did where very expensive and even then, they only had a small number or reviews. Most complained that the material was too thin and stretchy and that it tore easily. That is when I started looking at yoga hammocks. Yoga hammocks have stretch, but are not so stretchy that they lose their elasticity and they are made of tricut fabric. Fabric that is made to withstand adults bending and flipping around in them so I new a 7 year old child and her little sister should be fine. I opted for this one specifically because of the positive reviews and the photos of people using the hammock. I could really see what I was getting. It also comes pre-tied and with carabiniers and hooks so it is pretty much ready to go, especially for my neice since they already had everything installed from the last swing. I have not been able to see the swing personally as I ordered it and had it shipped to my neice who lives in another part of the state but her mom did send pictures and I can tell you, my 7 year old niece and her little sister absolutely LOVE it!! The material does have some stretch to it but it's a sturdier stretch material and much safer since it's solid, verses the cargo netting. As for the color, I got it in the purple and it is gorgeous and vibrant and the absolute perfect color for my niece. So, for those of you looking for a therapy swing alternative, this is a wonderful, wonderful option!

Ordered for my son who loves these swings. He uses it daily and assembly was easy and quick. This is our 3rd swing and it's an amazing brand all around

We don't have any good load bearing beams accessible in the house, but my kids love twisting and doing aerial tricks in the crook of a long maple tree limb. the directions were pretty self explanatory and the carabiners, daisy chain ropes and O rings all look to be quality stuff. The aqua fabric is beautiful and sturdy, a little flexibility but not enough stretch that it loses the integrity of the sling you're making to do your pose. Ours is super close to the ground, but we hiked up the fabric tails and cinched them into the O rings with less "slack" at the midpoint of the fabric- this got it off the ground so they can play, without being suspended several feet in the air, or dragging on the ground. Since they're using it outside, we bring it in at night. We have not washed it yet, but I would try handwash or gentle cycle/air dry when it gets dirty

Purchased one a while ago and for Christmas, another for my daughter. She chose gold which to my surprise, looks just beautiful when hung. Quality fabric & hardware. I'm new to arial yoga so I watched a tutorial from CamiYoga on youtube to prepare mine for hanging & it wasn't until I opened my daughters that I realized it came properly gathered & ready to hang. NIce. My physical therapist is trading in her yoga 'trapeze' for one of these. It's lovely when hung. Even if you don't think you'll like yoga, you don't have to be strong or do tricks to get benefit. For people with sensory issues or on the autistic spectrum, simply lying in the hammock is a visceral calming experience for me. Basic stretching is improved. Being supported by the hammock while stretching makes it passive & so supported, which adds a sense of safety, & allows me to stretch area's over my entire body that are plagued with chronic pain. Love it!!

This thing will hold two people in it TOGETHER if you want it to!!! 200lbs+150lbs and no issues. Amazing purchase, can’t live without one of these now! Bought a $10 hook you screw into a beam in your ceiling, and it’s perfect. I do daily stretches/yoga in it every day now, and if I skip I immediately notice with aches and pains. Also you can just relax and lay in the thing, or even use it as a swing! Huge hit with kids, too!

I love this aerial Yoga hammock! I have had another one before, and I have experienced other ones at various aerial arts studios, so I can compare, and this is a great one to have at home. The fabric is soft and just the right amount of stretchy while being durable. FYI, it is not silk, for anyone confused out there but the term "aerial silks". But it is soft like silk while being strong and durable, great against bare skin or clothing. The color (I chose red) is beautiful, the length is perfect for my ceiling (standard 8 foot ceiling) and there is extra fabric that I can untie and release to make it longer if I hung it from higher point. The width is plenty, I can lay on it stretching out with my arms over head and still have extra fabric at my feet. It came already pre-tied in knots at the two ends with an instruction sheet how to tie them as well as basic care instructions and a few poses, and also with two loop straps tied in the knots to put the carabiners through, two daisy chains (to make it hang longer) and two strong carabiners. I already have two strong eye hooks in my ceilings from hanging my previous hammock - I made sure to locate a beam behind the ceiling paint layer - and it is solid hanging up there. I am pretty happy with it and would recommend it to others.
