Better than my Columbia Shorts
Better than my Columbia shorts. Excellent, comfortable material. Zippered pockets are ideal. Light weight. Even nice for swimming. Note: They seem 1 size larger than I need (ore maybe I'm losing weight? haha). Great fit and feel. I'll buy them again vs buying the Columbia shorts.

A staple in my husbands closet
My husband loves these. Stretchy, comfortable, easy to work in. They are more on the snug side than roomy, so size accordingly. Great quality!

Comfortable, practical cargo shorts
I've been weeding out old clothes and replacing them with new stuff. I had three old pairs of cargo style shorts that had seen better days. I wanted a pair with zipper pockets and that were a bit more modern; not so big and baggy. This fit the bill pretty well. The material is super comfortable and stretchy. The zipper pockets work great and they fit nicely. I love that these come in size 33! So many things don't these days. I initially tried the 34 and they were too big so I swapped for the 33 and they are perfect. The sit just above the knee which is pretty good. I wish they were about an inch shorter but honestly, they look modern enough. Historically, my Wrangler shorts have held up well so I'm expecting the same from these.

Order a size smaller
Size: I'm legit 38" if not a little more. A lot of the reviews say true to size so I ordered the 38". If I lost a pound and jumped up and down they would have fallen to my ankles. I guess if you like wearing a belt and like that really loose feel then stick to the 38". I'm big shoulders no butt so I need that little bit of extra tension to keep my drawers up. I reordered the 36" and they fit great. Puts the "Flex" to a little but of test but that's what it's there for and it's comfortable. Also the smaller size looks better because the legs aren't so large. There was a huger difference between the 38" and 36". Performance: I usually graduate my clothes to "yard gear" after they have had a year or so of normal wear. I immediately put these to the test doing yard work and I will wear these from now on. They were light which kept me cool, the waist was flexible but comfortably snug and the front pockets were deep enough to hold my phone with no issues. I push-mow a large yard and bag the clippings. My neighbors will appreciate that now when I bend over to remove the bagger they won't be confused that a plumber is doing my yardwork. Highly recommend these and also recommend the Flex version of the Wrangler jeans that are sized in a similar fashion. I have bought another pair and will likely buy a few more. I would even work out at the gym in these when that time comes... maybe having these will motivate me to get there.

Great Shorts
I am able to wear shorts to work and I saw these and figured to give them a try. First I must say, as a guy I am used to the demin or thick cotton feel for pants/shorts, these are not that feel. These are a stretchy material. When wearing them they are very comfortable and when you sit, as a guy the material is stretchy so you can sit down comfortably without issues. They look like regular shorts, I feel the waistband is a little wider but not in a bad way. I have washed this pair 3x now, they wash well, no fading or coming apart as I read in one review but they do look wrinkly, not bad enough to have to iron them, besides when you put them on the wrinkles seem to go away, I think its the stretchy material that makes them look that way. I paid $27 for this paid off shorts and it's about as hight as I would want to pay. I do need to mention that I did order a second pair, black as these are more of an olive color. I hope this review helps.

Great shorts
You need more stars to give for this product. I have four pairs of these now. They are by far the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned. They move and stretch with your body and are well worth the money. The fit is perfect, the color is right on with the picture. I can't say enough about them.

Comfortable, durable, functional, and they look good
I have three pairs of these in different colors. I have put them through a lot--extensive international travel, which includes lots of city walking and lots of mountain hiking. I also wore them through an extended backpacking trip. Here's what I really like about these shorts: The material is durable--it feels reasonably thick and strong. They dry more quickly than the thickness of the material suggests. They are comfortable, and offer excellent freedom of movement. They are water resistant--If you spill water or coffee on yourself, much of it will run off rather than soaking in. The front pockets fit more than you think. The side pockets are secured with zippers, and can hold a lot of lightweight gear. (Anything heavy will move back and forth as you walk and batter your legs--so that's what the front pockets are for). They have all the function of cargo shorts, but they don't look like cargo shorts, so I don't get rightly ridiculed by young people for wearing them. They offer a lot of freedom of movement--more so than their look suggests. I could wear these to the gym and do an intense kettlebell workout in these shorts. There's only one thing I don't like: the material tends to pill around my waist where the backpack belt fastens. It doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the shorts--it's just that I don't think they were necessarily designed with backpacking in mind. I think for a rugged backpacking trip that involved constant contact with a backpack waist belt, I might have to spend more money for brand-name hiking shorts. That being said, I will be happy to take all three pairs of these shorts, used though they are, on another long backpacking trip. I just won't wear these pairs anywhere nice, because though they function fine, they now look used. I'll probably buy another pair or two for summer use, but when it comes time to buy new heavy duty backpacking shorts, I'll naturally look somewhere else.
