What are the actual wagon dimensions (not the packing box) ?

40" x 22" x 21.5" (LxWxH) Those are measured at the tires because they are offset further than the bed of the wagon. The bed is 36" x 18"

Are these made in America?

No it is not USA made. Clearly marked on box, made in china

Can the sides be removed for older kids?

Yes, the sides can be removed. The wagon is shipped with the wooden sides off. Simple to assemble and take apart.
