Ditch the fly paper, this is better
Over the years, I have tried several types of fly paper that were, at best, mediocre in quality, difficult to work with, and always disgusting. In total, I probably spent more than the cost of this one simple product. This indoor zapper is far more economical, simple to use, and highly effective. Plug it in, and house flies, fruit flies, and gnats don't stand a chance. Initially, I thought it was cruel to zap them. Then I realized that an instant zap was probably kinder than slow death by fly paper. The zapper also doesn't look too bad. It just looks like there's another electronic device in your home. Not beautiful, but certainly acceptable, and a huge improvement over what you see on fly paper. Some things to keep in mind: 1) It makes a rather loud snap each time it zaps a bug, so be ready for it. I got used to it, but it was startling at first. 2) The "off-on" switch is located on the side. Depending on where you place the item, it may be hard to reach the controls. I plugged it into a small surge protector that's easy to access, and that solved the problem. 3) Add a little food. I use wet cat food. Even though the bugs are attracted to the zapper's light, the food seems to attract more insects. This product includes a small brush to help you sweep out the tray. I highly recommend this product.

Zapper that lasts!
This is very easy to use, is good quality, and works so well with reduced those pests flying around your house! Seems to be safe around kids and can also be hung out of reach. It has been used daily for at least half a year now and still works excellent!

Loud
Very loud to be inside. About scares the pants off me and my dog each time it gets a big. Doesn’t do a great job for flies. Gets some. It does take care of moths well and some smaller bugs.

Works great and aesthetically pleasing!
I love this zapper! We live in Tennessee and have so. Many. Bugs. We turn this on every night in our main room and it kills so many bugs. It’s so satisfying hearing that zap sound after dealing with pesky flies, gnats, stink bugs, etc- all day long!

10/10 Best one yet
Very effective. Placed in our garage and you’ll know when it goes off… can hear it zap with the door closed. Keeps the garage clear of flying insects! Very easy to use. Power supply is easy, just plug it in. Doesn’t stick to you but the bugs do which is nice, they don’t fall to the floor.

Great for fruit flies, marginal for house flies
This zapper is great for fruit flies but the spacing is a little small to encourage house flies to hit the energized rails. I'm sure the spacing is to discourage little finger from trying to stick in there but it also makes it a less effective.
