I had this book as a young girl and bought it for my own daughter- I would definitely recommend reading this WITH your daughter, just so if she has any questions you can elaborate and help her understand ❤️

What an amazing book. My daughter and I find it helpful. It explains ways to take care of your hair, eyes, teeth among other things. It also explains puberty. This way if my daughter has a question she may be too embarrassed to ask me, she can possibly find it in the book.

Great book to share or give to little girls to help them understand their growing bodies.

Got this for my 9 year old as a way to help guide her before puberty. We have read a lot of this together and it has been so informative and a great way to open dialogue on certain topics. I had this book when I was her age as well! Topics are very tame and appropriate for pre-pubescent girls and focuses on changes to your body and how to stay healthy and confident while navigating these changes

I had this book as a tween and remembered how my friends and I would pass it around like a sacred text. I bought this for my 8 year old stepdaughter and I’m shocked how influential it has been. Previously she would fight hair washing and brushing like she was defending against guerrilla warfare. Negotiating, running, creating diversions. She read the first segment of the book discussing hygiene tips and something in her shifted. She walked downstairs brushing her hair. She requested to wake up early to shower before school?????Information is power - even when you’re in third grade. A practical, approachable guide to day to day life is so empowering to young girls to take charge of their self care. I am so grateful for this book. Truly, this a resource that should be in every home with a growing girl present.
