I am 40 years of age. I have used the fusion pro glide since it came out but about this particular razor I was not very decided. The reason is the high cartridge price of Rs 1000+ but money is never a concern for one's looks and self esteem. So I made the plunge and attacked a 14 day stubble.. a) Packaging - I threw away everything except the plastic protective of the razor and the stand. b) Setup - 30 seconds c) Durability - Gillette knows that if a formula works don't change it. The pro glide and this have a very similar build quality except this seems newer, more fun to hold and somehow the grip seems improved. d) The Razor looks magical. Like it will do more. Like a little apprentice that has a trick up its sleeve. e) Time taken to shave - I am not saying this for flair but the time taken to shave with this razor is significantly lesser than pro glide. I mean I saved at least one minute here. f) After-Shave Look - Looked good but it seemed to me to stay for maybe 12 hours extra. The stubble did not come back till day 3. From afar I still look clean shaved. I have lived long enough to know that a clean shaved look with decent eyes can look amazing under various lights. g) On June 1 when I wore this, I think I looked my best possible self yet. And that has to be attributed to the close shave. Pros -> Good grip, you save time, close shave Cons -> Not everyone can afford it. But can you afford to look your second best? Just buy it. PS : Not a paid review. I love my fusion pro glide razors. **UPDATED 14th July** Boys/Men in simple terms, this is the best razor. The extra blade and precision gives you a very clean look. But you will still have to shave 2-3 times if you want a very close shave. So be mindful. Also save water, switch off tap while shaving.

Gillette continues to impress. This razor is a cut above the rest, offering a shaving experience, unlike anything I've encountered in my two decades of grooming. Despite having sensitive skin prone to rashes, I didn't experience any sort of irritation or discomfort. The razor just glides smoothly through your skin with precision and finesse. From my personal experience, this razor has given me the nicest, most relaxing shaving experience. A must-try for anyone seeking the ultimate experience in personal grooming.

The razor itself is solid: good weight, balanced feel, smooth handle grip. The shave is only slightly closer than the Gillette Pro Fusion, so the incremental benefit is minor. Cartridges are advertised as lasting up to a month, but in practice I get about 6–7 shaves before they lose sharpness. The precision trimmer works well, and the waterproof design is convenient. Biggest negative is the magnetic stand—feels like a gimmick, adds no real value. Overall, premium look and a marginally closer shave, but not a major upgrade over Pro Fusion.

The Gillette Fusion blades were already so good, it's difficult to imagine something being anything more than incrementally better. Labs is not an incremental update. It is a significant one. The smoothest, most frictionless affair (even while reverse shaving) with zero skin irritation of any kind. Can't go back to anything else after this.

1. the pics are misleading to show the green strip the graphic designed flipped the blade this doesn't happen with the real product you can see in the video that the blades are on the other side than what is shown in the promo , packaging and all pics didn't expect this from Gillette 2. and about the product Proglide still gives a smoother shave over priced under performing product why will u leave a strip on the handle when u can get a brand new one with every cartridge not that they are priced less this strip will have debries very soon conviniently gave it life time guarantee and in fine print say every reason u won't get a replacement of course this strip will wear and tear and with stubbles like men do have even earlier such a bad product design the reason HP printers have inkheads with every cartridges and where it succeeded and where epson had failed years back when their print heads clogged and all this to just give the razor and unique stand the only reason i bought it and thinking time to upgrade but will switch back to proglide BTW been using fusion power from way back and then to proglide since it came out Been using this to clean shave my head for over 20 yrs now and my wife used to love the feel of clean shaved head everytime i did but this doesn't feel the same even though its a so callednewer innovation

Fusion proglide is way better than this. Been a Gillette customer for so long and all their “upgrades” felt like real upgrades, but not this one! The stand given is totally useless. The razor is light weight (which is not necessarily a good thing. Heavy razors give a good grip and finish). The cartridge blade width is small when compared to proglide. And overall didn’t feel like a smooth shave. Going back to fusion proglide. Sad that can’t return this item. So have to either give it off to someone or throw it.

Build quality is superior when comparing to other Gillette models ! The metallic build to the mechanism, all are in perfect harmony! The stand is heavy and built to do the job ! Shave is just perfect! Wished the magnetic strength is bit stronger, but it does the job.
