I bought it but there is no support instructions at all. I have window 11 and I am sure it doesn't work with window 11. Since yesterday I am trying my best but nothing to do. Before using it we need to install some drivers but it does not work anyway. Do not buy.

Very neat device. Works well with a SDK from Crossmatch both in Windows 7 64-bit and Ubuntu Linux 14.04 32-bit.

Garbage - do not buy
Painfully expensive piece of e-waste. Enrolment appears to work but then the finger is not recognized. Tried both on Windows and Linux for a solid 0% chance of success. Tried multiple fingers and hands, and even asked a friend to try in case my prints were somehow special. Nothing.

Really good fingerprint reader that works.
We use one of these to speed up logging into various websites and programs where we are forced to log in throughout the day. Now we can login just by putting a finger on the fingerprint reader. We are able to login to windows 7 this way and various websites via IE. However some software is not supported (chrome the last time we looked). We have still found it to be a great time saver. It also allows people to login to only the programs/websites they need. If they try to do anything without permission they don't know the PCs passwords so are unable to access them. We have tried a few fingerprint readers and this one is the only one we found to be reliable and work straight away 99.5% of the time. it is also very quick (responds in 1 second).

Drivers should be inclusive
The product is okay but until now I can’t use it because it’s need some kind of drivers which I didn’t have nor ordered.

I saw the picture of digital persona that has red circle, but I was given HID blue. The device was not

No longer suported - effectively obsolete
Don't buy one of these unless you are a software programmer and can write your own software to get this item working. An extensive search of the net shows that there is no longer any software around for general use to get this device working. It would no doubt serve as a replacement on a computer that already has one of these installed - but that's about it. I don't think Amazon should be listing these for sale any more, as its misleading to buyers. I'm still trying to get a refund on the one I bought.

Den fungerar inte. Trotts väldigt många försök att läsa in mina fingrar, så "minns" den bara mina fingeravtryck i 1 dag. Sedan måste jag göra om inläsningen av fingret för att det skall fungera igen. Har provat den i flera veckor, har felsökt och installerat om den enligt tillverkarens anvisningar och alltid med tillverkarens drivrutiner, men det fungerar bara den första dagen. Sedan fungerar det inte. Har även provat med andra fingrar, samt även provat på en annan dator. Inget hjälper. Denna fingeravtrycksläsare är en stor besvikelse och alla pengar var bortkastade. Köp inte! Kommer aldrig rekommendera någon att använda denna produkt.
