Review: Order a Size Up, Extremely Lightweight and Easy to Put On - The rain has been unusually generous this year in California this year, and in the Bay Area it's been enough where sending the kids to school in rain boots hasn't been too bad of an idea. Unfortunately for us, this was the year that our son's Western Chief Kids Solid Firechief Rain Boot(Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid),Black,1 M US Little Kid decided to develop a HUGE rip in the back seam and cause a miserable leak in my son's right boot. I purchased that boot in Nov 2015 and it lasted one rainy season as stormaggedon 2015 never actually showed up and instead waited until 2016-2017. The Crocs Rain Boots seem to be a great replacement boot. First off, these are much lighter than other rain boots. True to Croc fashion, these are extremely lightweight and molded into one piece with no seams. The boots are comfortable for my kid to wear, and he loves that they're literally half the weight of his old boots. He's had no issues with leaks, and because there's no seams, it's unlikely a tear would happen. I have been keeping an eye out for wear, and despite daily use, many stomps through puddles, and running around like an ant on speed, the boots seem to be holding up quite well to my kid's use. Unfortunately, like all other Crocs, these have NO type of lining in them. This was not an issue for us as it's an easy fix - simply wear a thick pair of socks and your kid is good to go. Another issue is that these boots do tend to run on a smaller size. Based on other reviews, I ended up ordering a size up (Size 3 instead of Size 2) and the boots fit my kid well. I can imagine the Size 2 may have been a snug, but can't positively say as I didn't order two pairs for comparison. Either way, there is a little wiggle room for my boy to grow into this boot. For those who have purchased Western Chief boots, those run big - I would go a size up if ordering the Crocs. Overall, great lightweight rain boot for kids - I'll update down the line when these wear out and develop leaks - if any. Review: Best rain boots ever! - These boots are a must have! Not only are they adorable and loved by kids and adults. But they are so hardy and clean up like brand new over and over again. They are comfortable, easy for kids to put on and take off themselves, super lightweight. We are on our second pair and will continue to buy more! Don't miss out on these!!!

The best kid rain boots!
These are the best rain boots! They are easy for my toddler to put on herself. They also are so easy to clean out any water that may get in. Regular rain boots take forever to dry the inside lining, but since these are made with the croc rubber material throughout the whole boot they dry so easy, and can just be wiped out. I highly recommend these for kids.

Perfect Rain Boots for Kids – Stylish, Functional, and Easy to Wear!
I recently purchased the Crocs Unisex-Child Handle It Rain Boots in Candy Pink for my child, and they have exceeded all expectations. These rain boots are a fantastic choice for keeping little feet dry and cozy during wet weather. Comfort and Fit: The boots are made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA), which makes them lightweight and comfortable. My child loves wearing them, and they don’t seem to tire their feet even after extended wear. Based on the recommendation, we sized down, and the fit is perfect. Design and Style: The Candy Pink color is vibrant and adorable, making these boots a hit with my child. The variety of colors available means you can choose a pair that suits your child’s personality. The reflective heel logo is a great safety feature, providing added visibility during rainy or cloudy days. Ease of Use: The oversized handles are a standout feature. They make it incredibly easy for my child to put the boots on and take them off independently, which is a huge plus for both of us. The handles are sturdy and well-designed, ensuring they hold up well with regular use. Functionality: These boots are perfect for rainy days and puddle jumping. They keep my child’s feet dry and warm, and the calf-high design ensures that no water sneaks in from the top. The EVA material also makes them easy to clean—just rinse and they’re good as new. Durability: After several weeks of use, including muddy and rainy days, the boots still look great. They’ve held up well and show no signs of wear and tear. The quality of the construction is impressive, and I’m confident they will last through many seasons. Overall: The Crocs Unisex-Child Handle It Rain Boots are an excellent investment for any parent looking for stylish, functional, and easy-to-wear rain boots for their child. They offer great comfort, durability, and are a joy for kids to wear. Highly recommended!

Second pair - we love these!
This is our second pair of Crocs rain boots because my 5 year old outgrew the last pair! We love them!! They are so lightweight and comfy, are fully water proof, are super easy for her to put on and take off, and are super cute too.

GREAT purchase - lightweight, easy to handle, not stinky
UPDATE (DEC. 2015): These are still fantastic boots and have held up really well. As noted in my original review below, we ordered these four sizes up because we wanted to get more use out of them. Now that our son wears almost a 10 (he's about a 9.5 right now), these boots are too small; we cannot get his feet in them. So, I would say they run about 1 size too small. Hope that helps. ORIGINAL REVIEW (NOV. 2014): I must've spent two hours one weekend looking at all the toddler rainboots on Amazon. Most seemed more than I wanted to spend; many would warn that the boots were deceptively heavy and/or impossible to take on and off; and some boots would appear perfect until that one review would mention how the heel separated from the boot after just a few wears. Then I found these. To be clear: at first, I cringed that these were Crocs. But they were a decent price, and so I took a gamble. So far, so good, folks! We are quite, quite pleased with these boots, and here are all the reasons why: 1) They are easy to put on and take off--the handles help, but the structure of the boot works, too. 2) They are SO lightweight compared to other boots. For comparison purposes, I picked up my nephew's (same age as my son) rainboots and I felt like I was carrying two little bricks. Why is this important? Your young'un can (theoretically) walk more easily in the boots if they're lighter and the heel is less likely to separate from the boot. 3) The boots have no lining or anything, which we think is great--you can just leave them outside for the night, or hose them down, and you don't have to worry about any smell. Some things to note: 1) Order several sizes up! We went up FOUR sizes and they are working out great. We cringe at having to buy new shoes so often, so any time we can cut a corner, we do. And the funny thing is, the size 10s actually don't look much bigger than his regular shoes at all when you look at the soles. And I've also read that these boots run small, so if it's for a cost-savings reason or for no reason at all, it sounds like ordering up is the way to go because these boots run small. 2) Though the boots are lightweight, it may take some time for your young'un to walk properly in these boots. Our son looks like a wounded cowboy when he walks around in these, although it gets less weird every time he puts them on... 3) Our color choices when we bought this boot were "sea blue" (which is what we bought), fuchsia, and carnation. We chose the sea blue, but it's really pretty much periwinkle, which can lean a little girl because of the purple tones in it. We're okay with that, and by the time our son wouldn't be okay with that, he'll have outgrown these boots. But I bring it up because I now see a yellow color that wasn't available, and I see that others in the past have ordered black, so be sure to check back frequently. In sum, this is a great boot that allows our son to do his favorite thing in the world: chase his dog through puddles and try to splash the dog (who also loves it). The boot is easy to put on and take off, is easy to clean, and appears to be enjoyed by our son. We will definitely be buying another pair when he outgrows this one--we hope in a "boy" color!

Almost perfect rain boots
My son is obsessed with his boots. They’re comfortable, easy to clean and great height for puddle jumping. I was always careful not to pull them on using the pull tabs since others said it ripped at that stress point, but my son put them on himself a few days ago and they ripped. He was very upset so I used a semi flexible gorilla glue and they seem to be holding up okay.

Worth every penny
I’m obsessed. I was worried they would be heavy based on the pictures, but they are so light! They have great treads, and my toddler loves them. They look great, fit well, and feel like regular croc material. I rarely leave reviews, but these are too perfect. Will definitely buy these for each stage.
