This thing is great
I have an extractor fan switch that I use to switch off the fan at night, due to noise. I wired this in and now I have a schedule setup to not let the fan come on at night. It’s small and easy to setup in the webpage and then the app, plus it looks like it does loads of other cool stuff.

A useful relay for home automation
These are brilliant little WiFi relays which can be fitted into existing back boxes behind light switches- need at least a 25mm depth box. Wiring is straightforward as long as there is a neutral (blue wire) in the box. Setting up is easy using the Shelly app; control of the relay can then be done using Alexa.

The Light of My Life! (Literally)
Oh. My. Gosh. I recently installed the Shelly smart home light relay, and let me tell you, it has COMPLETELY transformed my existence! I’m not just talking about lights turning on and off; I’m talking about a spiritual awakening. First of all, when I opened the box, it felt like I was unboxing a piece of advanced alien technology. The sleek design? Chef’s kiss! It practically whispered, “Welcome to the future, earthling!” I almost cried tears of joy. Installation? Easy peasy! I was so excited I may have accidentally knocked over a lamp and spilled coffee everywhere, but who cares? I was on the brink of an enlightenment journey! Once I connected it, I felt like Tony Stark flipping switches in his lab. And let’s talk about the app. OH. MY. GOSH. The interface is smoother than butter sliding down a rainbow. I can control my lights from anywhere! I’m talking about the couch, the kitchen, even the bathroom (don’t judge me). It’s like being a wizard, but instead of spells, I just tap my phone. “Lumos!”—I mean, “Turn on the living room lights!” It’s practically sorcery! Now, the moment my lights dimmed for movie night? Pure magic! I felt like I was living in a high-budget film. I half expected Leonardo DiCaprio to knock on my door and ask to join my epic viewing party. But wait, there’s more! The voice control feature? I’m convinced my lights are sentient now. “Hey, Shelly, turn on the kitchen lights!” and they obey like a loyal puppy! I could literally see my cat rolling its eyes in jealousy. In conclusion, if you’re not using the Shelly smart home light relay, what are you even doing with your life? It’s not just a light relay; it’s a lifestyle change! My home feels like a tech-infused paradise, and I am the king (or queen) of my castle. Bow down to the brilliance of Shelly! 10/10 would recommend!

Great little device
This fitted what I wanted to a tee.... A tiny little box that is so small, when installing I dropped it and it fell behind the radiator and I had fun trying to retrieve it. This is my second Shelly device and I think it's great. I like their app and the integration with Home Assistant. The downsides. I don't understand why there are so many terminals for such a small device. You need to add a Live to the unit, then a separate Live that will power your devices and then a third live that is used for the switch line. This meant that I had 3 Wago boxes in the tiny light blackbox. I understand this when it's in a pro unit that goes into your consumer unit but maybe not for a single bulb and switch. HomeKit support could be better from Shelly although it seems some devices are now getting supported with Matter. Overall a great device that worked first time and is so small it fitted into my back box, even with 3 Wago junction boxes in there!

Great product & brilliant seller
Super quick dispatch – arrived the next day. Fitted it to the bathroom fan, and with the app you can choose exactly how many hours or minutes you want it to run for. Really convenient! I had an issue and the seller sorted it out straight away. Highly recommend this seller

Amazing mini magic boxes
Small, simple to wire and automates lights quite simply! As a non-electrician I found it quite simple to wire behind my outdoor lights. The instructions weren’t so great so went on the internet to find how to ho the light up when I didn’t want it to connect to a standard light switch. Once wired correctly the app quickly identifies it and can connects it. The user interface of the app is not straightforward but can be figured out. I just can’t believe something of this size does all of that wirelessly without an additional hub like Hive needs.

Not natively HomeKit compatible
I purchased this to control my boiler, seems simple enough.. Search "Homekit Relay" boom, shelly mini top hit, read the reviews, lovely, purchase it, great, arrived the next day, perfect. Go to install.... needs a homebridge... that sucks. Im not spending time, effort and £85 on a raspberry pi, to then configure it and mess around getting stuff to work for an £11 relay... I know, ill return it... £2.75 for postage, its almost not worth the effort. If your looking for native HomeKit integration, this isnt for you.

Great little devices
These relays have been a great addition to our growing smart home. Initially went down a well known smart bulb route but that left us tied in to the brand (and their cost) and having to replace failed bulbs after a few years. These relays were easy enough to install for someone who is competent with basic home electrics. They mean we can continue to use our existing light fixtures and bulbs. The Shelly mini is small enough to install in the ceiling rose if the light fixture or ideally if you have a neutral at the switch, then to put behind there. Quick to set up, lots of configuration options including viewing power consumption. If you’re a home assistant user then they integrate easily there too which has enabled me to then use with Apple HomeKit. Plan to buy a lot more of these for other lights around the house!

Ideaal apparaatje. Ik heb hem aangesloten op de voeding van de caravan en kan precies bijhouden hoeveel ik in totaal verbruik en hoeveel watt ik op het moment gebruik.

I'm sure these are good quality, but the way these products are named is very confusing. I had to return them. Just be aware of the power ratings and functions before purchasing. I have since purchased the correct one, but am still waiting for it to arrive.

First of all, this is a really useful device. Very small so that you can install it inside an existing outlet-box and very easy to integrate into your HomeAssistant application (or just use their app!) My only complaint was that when I tried following the wiring "schematic" that was included with the device, it shows that your light/appliance connects to the Neutral wire (white, in the USA) from the "I" (input) screw. This never worked for me and I thought I just had a dud (bad Shelly). Actually, the "I" is for "input", not output or "neutral". (who would have guessed?) I found the correct wiring diagram on YouTube channel "The Hook Up". I created my own version with pictures of sample components (apologies for some rough lines!) and I'm attaching it to this review. I'm not a licensed electrician (and I don't think the guy from "The Hook Up" is either) so proceed at your own risk, but if you try and fail using the schematic that comes from Shelly, before you return the device or toss it in the trash, you might want to try this wiring...
