I've been using this toothpaste for a few months now and while I was disappointed with it to begin with, I have got used to it. The main reason for the disappointment was it is quite a mild mint so I felt like it didn't leave my mouth feeling as fresh as other toothpastes may do which then resulted in waking up in the morning and not still having that minty fresh feeling. That said, I'm not waking up with bad breath or anything so it does give my mouth a good clean. It's not going to do anything in terms of whitening if you're a coffee drinker etc but it's perfectly fine for those who prefer a mild mint flavour.

I received 3x125ml boxes of Macleans toothpaste containing plastic easy to use tubes with large screw on caps. The toothpaste inside is white and smells very minty.The consistency was good and the taste was quite refreshing. I haven't used this brand before but I was pleased that it was thicker than I expected and not gritty.Unlike some other tubes I have used before, these are easy to use and don't seem to leave any mess around the rim. I only ever use a small amount on my toothbrush, but after use the tube still holds its shape and the screw on cap keeps it secure and clean.I have only been using this toothpaste for the last few weeks and it has seemed fine to me. No reactions of any kind and my teeth feel about as clean as they do after using some other brands.As for value for money, I would have to say about average since you can purchase 100ml tubes of Macleans from some supermarkets for about £1.20.I think this is as good as many other toothpastes and is a fine choice for everyday use.
