Works great on a 10-needle embroidery machine
I stitched a design that had 14 different threads and decided to really make it shimmer by using all metallic threads. Because of the way a particular manufacturer winds their spools, I was getting a lot of thread breaks - until I remembered that I bought this a while back for this very purpose. Just be sure and test it that the tension isn't too tight and I think you'll find it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I jerryrigged it on my 10-needle before I found out they have a different adapter that might work better. But it never came loose so I'm happy!

Metallic thread problems no more.
Saw this on a tutorial. And it does what it's made for. Keeps metallic thread form over twisting and breaking. You can put one or two spools on it. I used it on a five circle design with my circular brother attachment and not one breakage.This is the tool to use to take away the frustration of working with metallic threads!!!

Seems OK
A little flimsy. Could be stronger plastic, but overall it works with 1000m spools. I wouldn't use it for 5000m spools.

Amazing!
I have tried many different suggestions for sewing metallic thread and always had problems. This thread holder takes all of that away. I was instantly able to sew metallic threads that I've had for over 20 years with no breaks. I even had success with holographic thread that is 12+ years old. I can not rave about this thread holder enough and I highly recommend it. It can of course be used for other threads. I just tested my most difficult threads.

dual spools
I haven't had a chance to use it yet but I have seen this in action and to me seeing that the metallic thread didn't break do to it being twisted was great. I can't wait to get it on the machine
